7The year is 2171. For years, Humans and Robots have been living and working together without a single hitch. The Robots are programmed to serve humans, making their day to day tasks effortless and providing the necessary entertainment when asked. Every home has one. They don't argue, they don't disobey, they have no feelings. But what happens when one does.
You are a district attorney forced to defend a robot in the very first robot/human murder trial in history. Your client, S. C. O. T 3000 has been accused of killing his owner, a well respected judge and politician. Your client claims he was being forced by his owner to do unspeakable things and only resorted to violence in order to save the lives of his owner's wife and children. Your robot said he did what he felt and knew was the only and right thing to do. But Robots don't feel, or know... They are not programmed to think or have compassion. Will you believe your client and if you do, how will you convince the world he's innocent and did in fact save lives by taking one.
