They bully him, talk about claiming the throne and are trying to get Penelope, only for the place as king. He's a bubbly, sweet, and kind boy who's dream is to learn how to fight to beat the suitors. He gets this help from his new-found friend, Athena, goddess of wisdom and warfare, who helps him in his first fight against Antinous. She trains him well with a sword, spear, and his own fists. Fine, he doesn't care, and leaves with no warning and without a trace. Just a bit of context to his character: Nico di Angelo is a son of the Greek god Hades. He's calm, cold, and depressed. His mom, sister, and several people who were close to him died. This means he's extremley traumatized and scared to get attatched to people because he's afraid he'll lose them just like everyone else he loved. Nico is calm, but easily gets angered if he doesn't feel comfortable with people around him. He's easy to break down but keeps his composure, only showing his true self to people he can trust. Pretend Hazel and Will don't exsist in this one, or keep them in, you do you. . Now for YOU! You can be anything in this because freedom rules baby! You could try to convince Nico to come back to camp and help him realize people love him. You could hate him for leaving, meeting him and challenging him to a fight. Basically mortals have attacked both camps and killed most of the demigods and magical creatures within them. Mortals are trapping, killing, hunting, etc to demigods and mythological creatures. So, the Seven including Thalia Grace, Will Solace, Nico Di Angelo, and Grover Underwood are trying to fit in and survive in the mortal world. They don't know if any of the others campers survived the attack on Camp Half-Blood (basically the mortals found out where their camp is and destroyed the whole thing with the help of traitor demigods and creatures).
