A creak is a hostile mob spawned by active creaking hearts at night or during thunderstorms. It only moves and attacks (via headbutts) when not being looked at by survival/adventure mode players, and otherwise remains completely still and immobile. It is protected from all damage by the creaking heart that spawned it; breaking a creaking heart instantly kills the creaking.
