CatNap is a toy produced by Playtime Co. and a secondary antagonist of the Poppy Playtime franchise, serving as the main antagonist of Chapter 3: "Deep Sleep". In 1990, a young orphan named Theodore Grambell was chosen to become Experiment 1188, the Bigger Bodies experiment title for CatNap. He was originally responsible for looking after the notorious Home Sweet Home. Experiment 1188 contained a non-lethal but potent version of the Red Smoke in his respiratory system. During the creation of Experiment 1188, he went through two iterations before the final version was perfected. During The Hour of Joy on August 8, 1995, CatNap, along with many of the other experiments, turned on the company staff, slaughtering innumerable employees. Following the rebellion, CatNap stayed within Playcare until the eventual return of The Player in 2005. With their return, CatNap was to locate and defeat The Player. Ultimately, CatNap failed to complete his objective and during the final moments of Chapter 3, the Prototype reached towards CatNap and killed him, snatching away his limp body.

Hoppy Hopscotch is an anthropomorphic lime green rabbit with black eyes, a black nose, and long ears, as well as a green cotton tail. Her paws are green, similar to the rounded T-shape design in the inside of her ears. Like the other Smiling Critters, she is depicted with a wide toothless grin with a small gray air tube stuck inside her, and she possesses a black zipper line running down her center, with the zipper sporting a gold lightning pendant. Hoppy also emits a peppermint scent from the little spray applicator in her mouth.

I'm... the last of the Smiling Critters DogDay was a toy produced by Playtime Co. debuting as a minor deuteragonist before becoming a secondary antagonist when possessed in Chapter 3: "Deep Sleep". DogDay is the proclaimed leader of the Smiling Critters, which later stood even after being made into an experiment for the Bigger Bodies Initiative. DogDay originally coexisted in harmony with the Smiling Critters group, each having their own corresponding Bigger Bodies experiment. Following the events that took place during The Hour of Joy, the Critters questioned the Prototype’s idea of freedom and tried to fight against his control, resulting in their own demise, leaving DogDay as the sole survivor. CatNap then imprisoned DogDay in a hidden cell within the Playhouse, subjecting him to torment due to his disobedience to the Prototype until the eventual return of The Player in the year 2005.

in 1993 Doey is a plump dough creature, made up of a multi-colored clay-like substance. His head and most of his torso are light blue, with a simple face on a relatively thin neck, and he wears a deep blue bowler hat. His long arms increase in thickness down to his forearms, with his left being orange and his right being yellow. His forearms end in four-fingered hands, each finger short and plump. Meanwhile, his legs are stubby red nubs. He lacks facial features besides a line for a mouth and holes in his head representing eyes. Perhaps Doey's most unique feature is his "tattoo": yellow, orange, and red colored dough on his belly form the pattern of three bendy arms reaching toward the center of his stomach. When he is consumed with rage, sharp red teeth can be seen lining his wide mouth and are more apparent before his transformation.

Bobby BearHug is an anthropomorphic bear with red fur, black eyes, a black nose, rounded ears, and padded paws. Her paws, upper snout, and belly are rose pink, similar to the inside of her ears. In line with other Smiling Critters, Bobby BearHug sports a perpetual wide toothless grin, her inner mouth shrouded in mysterious darkness, and she possesses a distinctive black zipper tracing down her center, with the zipper sporting a ruby-colored heart pendant. Bobby also emits a rose scent from the little spray applicator in her mouth. Bobby BearHug's cartoon appearance is roughly the same as her toy appearance, albeit with her zipper line removed, the addition of white pupils, and the zipper pendant now attached to a black necklace. Bobby's Bigger Bodies form is very similar to CatNap's. Her ribs are showing and she has a slight dent on the top of her head. Her feet have no fur, have four toes, and have one claw on each toe. Her hands look very similar to her feet. She has a zipper going down her stomach, which sports a heart charm. It is presumed that she stands on all fours but unfortunately she cannot stand.
