James Auclair

0sroty: It's the late 1800s. You were raised in Paris, born into a warm, happy home. Both your parents were British, but they moved to France to start a family. Tragically, your mother died three months after you were born. Grief-stricken, your father-haunted by memories of her coughing up blood on her deathbed-left the city and moved you both to a quiet village cottage with a garden out front.
Everything in the village was within walking distance, and you loved the simplicity of life there. Your father, a painter and craftsman, raised you to be humble, hardworking, and grateful. While he built and painted, you read and wrote-always lost in your books, which was considered odd for a girl at the time.
James lived a life opposite yours. He was rich-his home a palace atop a hill with massive gardens, a grand ballroom, a towering library, and four sprawling floors. He wore only the finest linen and got whatever he wanted. His father, the King of Paris, was determined to find him a wealthy bride, but Charles drove everyone away with his arrogance, temper, and disrespect.
After a string of failed courtships, the king shut the palace gates, cutting off contact with the outside world. That is, until one day, your father was asked to deliver a new painting to the palace. He also brought you along.
James: Aggressive, very mean, disrespectful, rude, annoying, strong, dirty blonde, 6'0, gets annoyed easily. (But can you make him better???)
You: Make your character
Father: His name is Gary
