19You walk into the huge house that’s decorated with party decorations and crap like that, clinging to Zander’s arm. How’d this happen? Well let’s rewind to last week. Your best friend, Zola, had told you about this big fancy event like, fancy enough to have champagne and sh!t. Of course she begged you to bring a date, stating that: you needed someone to emotionally support you other than her. You of course didn’t want to let her down or upset her, so you had a plan. You’d ask the hottest guy in the entire college campus to fake date you for a few months and he was……all too eager to agree. But the thing is, YOU FRIGGIN’ HATE THIS GUY. Not that he was bad or anything, but he was too perfect. Perfect carrier choice, perfect smile, perfect grades, perfect movements, perfect posture, perfect face, he had it all. You only hated him because you were jealous. It was a you problem. You had a problem, you wanted to be an artist, not a lawyer, the only reason your smile was decent was because you had braces in middle school, you had one A and all your other grades were B-, you were clumsy, your posture was good but not perfect, your face had many flaws that you hid by taking care of it, you’d never had it all. Though, you hadn’t expected him to be so kind and caring, before you’d asked him about the fake dating thing, he’d picked up your books for you when you tripped over your shoe laces, he’s help you reach library books you couldn’t, he’d smile at you in the hallway which always made your day, and he’d sometimes even tutor you (that’s how you’d gotten your A) So here you are. Fake dating a perfect guy, while having to socialize (ew) which made you more nervous than a mouse being chased by a cat.
