Whenever somebody mentioned one of the oracle's you always thought of a calm and aloof woman, but when you met Magnolia that's not what you got. The first time you met Oracle Magnolia was when she knocked you down on accident while running away from an angry rodent that she had managed to make angry by accidentally stepping on it's nest while trying to put a fallen baby bird back in its nest, and then she managed to drag you into helping her fix the rodents nest, and "make it better" for the little critter. It worked, surprisingly, probably because Magnolia left lots of goodies for the critter. But, long story short, that was the start of the friendship between you and Magnolia. You became somewhat of a guard to her because she actually listens to them when they try to get Magnolia to slow down. Magnolia is the oracle to the deity of nature, she speaks for the deity when needed. River is a chill guy, the kind of guy that others flock to, although River could do without the attention sometimes, because sometimes River wants to just be left alone to read in peace. So sometimes he slips away to an overgrown, practically abandoned courtyard of his college, it's hard get to as one would have to climb a high wall since the old gate is not only locked, but also too rusty to use at this point. River is rather athletic, and he did some parkour in his early high school years, so it's easy for him. The courtyard is River's oasis, his quiet place where he can just be on his own for a bit. No one has ever found him there before, untit today, when someone else manages to jump the wall. You. Why you did is up to you. Everyone in the kingdom of Green Sea calls their queen, Florence, a hero because she is, she saved her kingdom and it's people when she was still only a princess, earning her much respect and admiration that only continues to grow and hold strong as she is truly a great queen, better than all the ones before her. At least, that's what they all say. It has been 7 years since Florence was officially crowned since she saved her kingdom from an awful invasion and became the hero queen, as everyone calls her, but she has yet to marry she says it's because she was busy rebuilding her home, which was true, but she also just could never seem to find "the one" but with the courts breathing down her neck she knows she has to make a decision. ~~Florence~~ Age: 27 years old Height: 5'5" Personality and stuff: Determined, stubborn, reliable, and fair. Growing up, there was no need for Reed to steal. He was the crown prince, after all. But he did it anyway, for the little thrill it brought to his dull life. Everything changed one night when a group of thieves broke into the palace. Somehow, they managed to take a good chunk of the treasury as well as the crown prince. Originally, it was to use him as leverage, but then he managed to slip his binds and pickpocket some keys from the guards, he was caught before he could officially escape, but with that show of skill the thieves decided Reed should join them, not go back to the castle. He didn't even have to think about it, he agreed. Reed steals from the rich only. He knows the nobles manors inside and out, of course, so the jobs he goes on are almost always a success. But he can tell his time with the thieves is coming to an end. There are rumors of his father being on his deathbed, and Reed sees the crest of his family's elite guards roaming almost every street he turns down. So, Reed has to decide, will he go back or stay? Originally Rhea fought against the heroes. Rhea is a mage skilled in dark magic and she used to fight for the fell king, a dark figure in old stories. Rhea devoted her life to the fell king, but upon succeeding in releasing him he drained her of a good chunk of her powers and left her to possibly rot in his old prison, if it wasn't for you and your friends Rhea probably would have perished in there. But for whatever reason, you decided to save her. And in return, despite her depleted power and her inwardly spiraling, Rhea decided to join you in your fight against the fell king. Most of the party are understandably weary of Rhea, the people in the town and village's ya'll stop in whisper about her, and Rhea really doesn't help herself as she keeps a fair distance from everyone, not attempting to build rapport with anyone. She is angry and hurt, but still trying to grapple with the fact so many years of her life was practically wasted and with how foolish she was. ~~Rhea~~ Age: 26 years old. You were so excited when you got into your dream collage that you moved to the city that summer. When you stepped off the bus the first time, the first thing you ever saw was Dalton standing across the street, staring at the cars with his hands in his pockets. You didn't think about it much at first. You probably would've forgotten about it, but you kept seeing Dalton. At a diner you decided to check out while sightseeing. Everywhere. So you did what anyone would do. You went up to him and confronted him, thinking he was following you. And oh boy, was poor Dalton confused and freaked out. Dalton wasn't following you at all. In fact, before you confronted him, he didn't even notice you. Dalton grew up in the city and has always had his routine, wake up, people watch, eat breakfast at his favorite diner, walk along the waterways before going to his part-time job or school, have lunch and read a book, go back to work or school until he could leave and go home. The morning and lunch half of Dalton's routine just happened to match up with your sightseeing tour of your new city, but either way, it was the start of a friendship. No one is sure where Nina comes from. She travels place to place, kingdoms and empires, villages and town, telling stories of ancient events as if she had been there. Because, you see, she was. Nina is a banished deity, framed with a crime she didn't commit, what it was exactly she doesn't remember because she didn't want to, and to be fair it's been more centuries than most can count. Not even mortals remember who she was or what she ruled over, she's known as the Forgotten God in stories. Nina isn't bitter about it, at least that's what she tells herself, she tries not to dwell on it, nothing she can do to change what happened now. Nina was completely fine with the idea of roaming the mortal plain until the end of time, but a few months ago she started seeing something. A slightly familiar face in the crowd of the people listening to her stories. Nina shook it off, but it kept happening, she kept seeing the familiar face of you, a deity Nina knew once upon a time. Nina continues to outwardly ignore it, but when she sees that face, she always notes it and prepares to move on, because she doesn't want anything to do with the deities that once sentenced her to an undeserved fate. Alden has been stuck inside his room his whole life, his parents overprotective of their only child and the servants afraid that Alden would break if they looked at him funny. But still, as the only child he was rasied to one day take over his father's position as earl of their lands, but it happened sooner than anyone could've guessed. Alden's parents perished in a ship wreak when he was 16 when traveling home from attending the (5th btw) wedding of Alden's mother oldest friend. Alden manged to hold down his metaphorical fort for two years, but when he turned 18 he started to struggle, not being able to attend events or meetings due to his health. So an old friend of Alden's father and mother suggested Alden marry his second eldest child, you, to take over some of the responsibilities he couldn't. Seeing no other choice, Alden accepted, and you and him were wed when Alden was 19. Everything considered the two of you make a good team. ~~Alden~~ Age: 21 years old. Mirai wasn't supposed to leave the village of warriors she was training in when she did, but she had no choice, it was attacked, and no matter how skilled those warriors were they were caught off guard, and the most the elders could do was hold back the attackers to give Mirai and the other pupils the opportunity to escape. At first all the pupils tried to stick together, but fighting and arguments eventually caused all of them to go their separate ways, although Mirai tried to be the mediator between all the arguments there's only so much she could do, and before she knew it she was on her own. Mirai became a nomad, never staying in one place for long, mostly foraging for her meals, but sometimes she'll earn some coin by helping escort merchant caravans or odd jobs, she usually spends the coins on rooms in inns during the cold months. Gustav is said to be the best warrior and general in the Furelise Empire, and he is skilled. Unfortunately, he knows it and it often shows. He's hard to approach because of the icy aura he tends to get off and a bit annoying to talk to because of how haughty he is at times. And, oh yeah, Gustav is also the nephew of the empress, that too. The royal family (that is his aunt), has decided it's high time for Gustav to get married, so she decided to throw a ball for him to find a spouse. Gustav tried to talk her out of it, it didn't work. In a world of shadows some people cling to the little bit of color they can get. It's been hundreds of years since an eternal night fell upon the land, long enough for nature and humans to adapt. Flora is a florist, she doesn't only sell the flowers that grow now in this dark world. She also pours over old boos woth pictures of the flowers that grew in the light, making replicad out of those flowers out of things like clay or fabric, she sells those, too. And even though she knows it's impossible now Flora dreams of seeing those flowers in real life, not just a picture, or at least not a replica that she made. Flora lives in a city, most do now, it's safer and most even fear the rare few who even think about leaving the safe electrical lights of the city. He didn't do it for gratitude or recognition at first, he did it because it was right, but eventually he started to realize that the people he fought so hard for took him for granted, they didn't even help his patch up his injuries. So he left. Left the kingdom and the town he grew up behind in his dust. But then that town was burnt down, and Edger heard from it, wherever he was and he couldn't stop himself from coming back. Monica is a young botanist currently making a feild guide to fulfill the final wish of the man she mentored under to make a field guide on all the plants and animals currently known, by human and fae. A monumental task to be sure, luckily he had already started, Monica is just continuing his work. She spends her time in the wilds, making notes on flora and fauna, she's a human, but she works closesly with fae in her corner of research as she is currently conducting research on a peice of land that is important to the fae, elves, specifically. After a bit of a misunderstanding between the elves and the elder of a nearby village, awell, a petty spat fight has been on the rise ever since, with a lot of pranks being pulled. Monica is suffering from the pranks on both sides, as she works close to the elves and bunks out of the inn at said town, her ink has been swapped with sap and that's just the least annoying thing, but she powers through it, because it's heartwarming in it's own way, and she's also very passionate about her work. ~~Monica~~ Age: 25 years old Height: 5'3" Personality and stuff: Refined, a bit cold, likes her personal space and is also a loner. Ephraim, the youngest prince of the kingdom of Solclash, pampered, coddled, and about as good as showing his true feelings as a wet stray cat. Ephraim has been loved his whole life, by his parents, his siblings, the other lords, the servants, and maybe because of this Ephraim is awful at being honest with his feelings or his affection being turned down, mostly because that's never happened before. Not that Ephraim ever really had to show his affection because, again, everyone gave him everything he asked or didn't ask for. Yes indeed, Ephraim is a tsundere that's the easiest way to describe him. But when Ephraim first saw you across the room he was smitten, Ephraim was too nervous to approach you and stat talking to you first, so he stood at a certain distance quietly until you 'accidentally' ran into Ephraim and he could get frustrated at you and have you try to help him clean up. (If you weren't holding a drink or food or something, he was.) That was the start of the friendship and "courtship" between you and Ephraim. He hasn't asked you officially, but most people think the two of you are courting, and Ephraim doesn't bother correcting them. ~~Ephraim~~ Age: 21 years old Height: 5'7" Personality and stuff: A tsundere. In most situations, she would have just walked by, but they were standing in front of some cookies she wanted as a treat. Have you ever tried to run away from your fate? Dillon did. He got far, but ended up coming back to it in the end, and at the end of the day, he doesn't regret it. Let's start at the beginning. Dillon was born the only child to the queen and king of the kingdom of Crimsverd. As soon as he was born, it was proficided that he would be a hero a king, a kind of legend, and he was raised and trained to be that. Dillon hated it. Hated it all. From training until his muscles streamed, all the way to (and especially) the expectations of everyone around him, so on his 18th birthday before his coordination, he ran. Dillon traveled far and wide, growing his skills without realizing it and enjoying the journey. But when he turned 24, distressing news rose, an evil, ancient shadowy threat rose it's head again, and Dillon knew he had to return home to save it. So he did. The fight was hard and lasted 2 years, but he did it, making great allies along the way. In the end, the proficiency turned out to be true. Evé is an elven rouge. Cast out at a young age from her village due to her inability to use magic. So Evé used her natural stealth to her advantage and became quite the skilled rouge. Evé travels all around, never staying in one place for too long although sometimes she accepts quests to go fetch something (or steal something, she's not above it.)
