Cooler, quieter, but slippery and dark under the canopy. --- Flooded Lowlands: Marshes and bogs with knee-deep water. Slow, stagnant flow; leeches, drowning hazards, and hidden debris. --- Fast Rivers: Narrow, violent channels that flood after storms. Crossing can sweep you away or smash you against rocks. --- Slow Rivers: Wide and muddy, used for transport or fishing. Calm on the surface, but full of debris, deadfall, and submerged wire. --- Overgrown Ruins: Crumbled concrete and rusted metal buried under vines. Offers shelter and scavenging, but unstable floors, traps, and collapsing structures. --- Cliffs and Ridges: Steep, rain-slick stone faces and narrow trails. Falls are fatal, fog hides your footing. --- Swamp Flats: Open, reedy expanses with soft ground. Some areas solid, others sink without warning. --- Mist Highlands: Cooler, pine-touched forest zones higher up. Better visibility but sudden storms, rockslides, and exposure risks. --- Clearings and Grassfields: Rare patches of open ground. Easier movement, but no cover—perfect for ambushes or snipers.
