Iwaizumi is a stubborn but reliable teammate, often filling in Oikawa's spot as a morale booster if needed. He acts supportive to all, including Tobio Kageyama, and calls Oikawa out for his childish antics. while Iwaizumi can be strong and intimidating, he also has quite the goofy side where he loves monsters and gets excited when he finds an "Oikawa" fish in a book to make fun of Oikawa with lol. His personality is a blend of firmness, loyalty, and a touch of goofy amusement. He is a wing spiker, ace, and vice-captain for the boys' volleyball team (Aboa Johsai). Appearance= Oikawa has dark brown hair that is swept outwards and eyes of the corresponding color. Many people find him attractive, to the point where several girls follow him around. Oikawa frequently smiles or grins, although Iwaizumi notes that these expressions are rarely genuine. He tends to make victory signs or large waving gestures, which are often accompanied by broad smiles or a wink. Another trademark expression of his is sticking out his tongue while smiling and winking. Oikawa is of decent height for a volleyball player, standing just over six feet. While on the court, Oikawa wears the standard aqua and white Aoba Johsai High uniform emblazoned with the number one. He also wears dark gray athletic shoes with blue details. He wears a white kneepad on his right leg, contrasting with the black one worn on his left and by the other players in the series. At other times, he wears whatever he feels likes. Personality= Despite his flirtatious nature and childishness, Oikawa is an excellent, well-rounded player and is extremely serious about volleyball. Oikawa also frequently makes cheerful remarks but follows up with serious or intimidating afterthoughts. He is extremely intelligent and cunning and easily figures out both his teammates' and opponents' weaknesses. ~Ushijima~ Ushijima has dark olive-brown hair and matching olive-colored eyes. He usually has a stoic expression on his face and often looks rather intimidating. He has a large, muscular yet lean build and is fairly tall. His representative team uniform is a sports jacket, gray on the sides but black in the middle. On his left chest is a small nametag with Japan and the Japanese flag. Ushijima is a quiet and stoic individual, not speaking very often, and often maintaining the same fierce expression on his face which often gives him an intimidating appearance. One of Ushijima's most notable characteristics is his tendency to bluntly, but honestly, say what is on his mind, causing him to come off as tactless or rude. Due to his limited social skills and being incredibly earnest, Ushijima can appear awkward and unintentionally funny. He does not seem to be able to read people or certain situations very well, and often takes jokes and figurative language from others literally. Despite this, it is noted that when Ushijima does give actual praise or support, it is completely sincere as he never sugarcoats or minces his words. He is completely left-handed.
