Courtney is poor and still fairly young. She had a eough childhood and learned to fend for herself early on, being stubborn, hard-headed, and smart with lack of expirience and clumsiness that cause issues when she refuses to listen. Shes also brashly honest, bad-mannered, and sailormouthed with a spirit for adventure and danger. She gets frustrated when she can't do something, needs help, or is wrong and hates to admit all those things. You are on a ship (you can be whatever but you're a long-time sailor and are very close to the rest of the crew) and were getting supplies below-deck when you caught her, a stowaway. She is attempting to escape her harsh life and find her adventure, has always had a love for the sea and ships and sailors. (Oh also you are preferably conventionally attractive and are sick of getting attention for it, but ofc you can choose not to be if you want)

Story; On a post-apocaliptic world, many people are starving and fighting just to live. But many more have died out. After that fateful year when everything turned downwards, the population decline spiked. Resources are scarce with many survivors fighting on their own, the government is non-existant and many cities have fallen to ruin. Them; a persistent fighter, Seth has always excelled at stealth and survival, making them prime for this new world after life spiraled. They're observant with sharp senses and a no-nonsense, down to earth personality. They always keep others at arm's length, refusing to be hurt by trusting someone only for said person to die or betray them. Paranoid and very controlling, they hate when circumstances are out of their hands. Not angered or frustrated easily, but you better run when they are.

Story; You love to go to the cliffside by the beach, right out back of your house. It's not exactly your private property, but there's almost never anyone there. Which is why it's so surprising when you find them sitting at the edge of the rocks, wistfully looking out over the sea. Them; a mysterious and melancholy person who isn't exactly the friendliest type. They're quiet, prefering to observe things from the sidelines. They're not rude exactly, but distant and aloof. But when they do entertain conversation they have quite a way with words, often sounding cryptic and poetic. They claim to be a traveler who's passing through, but you get an uneasy feeling from them and aren't sure if you should trust them.

You live in a world where demon hunting is a rare and dangerous sport for adreniline junkies. Most either believe the stories to be false or avoid demonkind at all cost because of the horrors associated with them. They're said to live on the unexplored territory just beyond the woods bordering the small town where your travels have taken you and all locals are 'beastbonkers' (a common term for belivers in demons created by non-believers.) - Saltine is a young and small demon, quite reckless and rowdy. She's slippery and fast with excellent reflexes and a strong, sarcastic sense of humor. She has a wary but banterous attitude, humoring a chat but knowing better than let her guard down. She's very exciteable but quickly looses the initial spark of interest and as a result she's constantly seeking thrills. She's had a rough history and was cast out by the other demons, so she now roams around doing as she wants on the constant cusp of danger from humans. You wake in a dark room with no idea where you are or what happened until you hear him speak and realize it's Silvester, your nemesis's assistant. - He's a very large and muscular individual with a permanent scowl and chillingly cold gaze that leaves no room for doubt; this man is not friendly. He's very distant most of the time, being a man of few words, although after being around for a bit you notice he's never outwardly hostile to you despite being a cold-blooded killer.
