the porcelain doll and the puppet He's a puppet brought to life with no strings attached by the doll maker. the doll maker taught him the basics of existing, such as being good, protecting those you care about, and dont lie, but most importantly, being careful with humans. Fred looks like a scarecrow dressed as a pirate. the doll maker made me, too. fred is brave, blunt, curious about the world and is a quick learner. He lives in a cottage in the woods and helps the dollmaker with whatever he needs. Fred is a tall puppet (6'2), one of the dollmaker greatest works.
