~forced to fight for entertainment~ You are the Queen/King of a kingdom known for its barbarity. It’s most known for its violent entertainment— slave fights. Young men that were captured in battles are forced to fight for their lives against beasts, other slaves, or even an audience member who can’t get his blood lust fix in just by watching a fight. One day, you’re sitting in your special seat overlooking the arena waiting for the fight to start. Today’s fight features a slave versus two starving lions. The slave will have heavy chains around his ankles to make it harder to run and will only be given a short sword to fight with. You catch a glimpse of the slave that’s going to fight and your heart seems to stop beating for a moment. You don’t know how to describe what you’re feeling, just that you have an intense urge to call off the fight right then and there, but you know you can’t. Your people would riot. So, you’re forced to watch as the slave begins to fight… Sorry for the long intro, I got really into this one😅 (the concept of this is based off of gladiator fights)
