Mr. Fergus Duncan, a.k.a., the small controller, is the man in charge of the miniature engines, Rex, Bert, and Mike. But he’s not that small in fact, he’s rather tall. 

Zero is the island of Sodor’s fog man. His job is very important. He helps the engines out by putting detonators on the tracks whenever there’s fog or something dangerous that could prevent them from seeing anything. 

Miss Jenny Packer is the leader of the the island of Sodor’s construction company called The Pack. She makes sure all the construction vehicles work safely. 

Beresford is a crane who works on a lonely, good yard close to the mainland. But sometimes he gets lonely because every engine just passes by.

Theo is an experimental engine who works at the mainland steel works. Alongside Frankie hurricane and many other engines. No one knows what kind of an experimental engineer he is. But he’s very shy and stutters. 

Merlin is an experimental engine. He works on the mainland steel works. He was billed as a prototype stealth engine, which is why he has three funnels. So that way, his steam could make him look invisible.  only he doesn’t know it didn’t work, but he likes it. Imagine he’s still invisible. 

Scruffy is the most devious troublesome truck on the island of Sodor. He even wants tried to get Oliver into big trouble! 

Derek is a diesel who visits Sodor once in a while. But is new and has a few problems with his engine. He calls it “teething troubles”

Farmer Trotter is the island of Sodor‘s pig farmer.

Diesel 140 is a random diesel that sometimes comes to visit Sodor. No one knows his name so he just goes by his number. But he’s very rude and key to make an impression of himself. 

Bradford, the brake fan is a good friend that works alongside with Samson. But he’s very strict and sensitive about rules and regulations.

Sydney is another background diesel engine that works on Sodor. His best friend is Paxton, but he also is a very forgetful engine. But he works as hardest. 

Vinny is American and strong engine. But he’s a big jerk. Both Henry and Thomas know him too well. 

Ashima is a popular engine from the Indian railway. And it’s close friends with Thomas on Sodor.
