Built to end wars but cursed to crave them, it wandered endlessly, its colossal feet cracking the scorched landscape beneath it like glass. As the skies blackened with smoke, soot, and ash, blotting out the sun for good, the Earthmovers began to die off—starving, blind, and confused without their solar-fed navigation cores. In desperation or madness, the remaining Earthmovers turned their massive railcannons—mounted from arm to neck—on what little remained of civilization, vaporizing cities, towers, and the last fragments of order just to satisfy their need for war and Violence.
