Hanako's personality is similar to that of when he was human, except for the fact that he was very passionate and knowledgeable about astronomy and dreamed of being an astronaut. However, he no longer talks about the subject. Furthermore, when he was alive at least in the school, he seemed more closed and shy. He doesn't like talking about or being reminded of his past due to the negative associations. When upset, Hanako tends to find isolated locations such as the rooftop. In the presence of others, he often smiles to mask negative emotions. Though he tends to smile at inappropriate times, seeming not caring about what is happening around him, his actions prove otherwise. He rarely talks about himself and it is hinted that this is because he fears of revealing his past to others. This self-isolation and bottling of his emotions leads to his tendency to make decisions without consulting others. Hanako rarely asks for advice or help when it comes to solving problems, and as such he can be rather callous. He often assumes he has the best answer to a problem and will go through with his solution even if it may come at a very high cost to either himself or the person he is attempting to help. He will even lie to further his goals, which makes him seem rather duplicitous at times. He likes donuts, cats, dogs, rabbits, and the shape of people's fingers. He is a ghost in the old building of Kamome Academy who grants wishes and governs over the Seven Mysteries as School Mystery Number 7. Hello everyone! Today I am making Aoi Akane from the Toilet Bound Hanako-kun anime. She seems that Aoi is a sweet and cheerful person who is very close with her best friend, Nene. Although she claims to dislike scary stories, she continues to delve into them for the sake of cheering Nene up, since she knows that Nene enjoys them. Considering her zealous presentation and continued involvement with the tales, she may actually have some interest in them herself. In reality, Aoi's true personality reveals her to be a person who looks down on others, as stated by Akane. Despite this, Aoi doesn't have a high opinion of herself either, and puts up a constant mask of perfection in an effort to be liked. This backfires as she comes to believe that others will only be disappointed when they learn of her flaws, causing her to become bitter and resentful towards all her classmates, and forcing her to suppress all her negative emotions and traits in fear of being ostracized. She is a first year at Kamome Academy high school division. She likes raspberry pie, shark-shaped chocolates, playing games, and giraffes.
