When his ability is activated, green tattoo-like stripes appear all over his body and outfit. After the Guild war, he wears a brown suit over his black long sleeve polo shirt and a cream colored tie. Being the wealthy person that he is, Fitzgerald is very proud, boasting about his fortunes very often. He is extremely arrogant and possesses a lot of confidence in himself. He dislikes when his offers are rejected. But he is a determined man who would do anything in order to get what he wants. Nevertheless, he is not outright evil, because it's seen that he cares about his subordinates, always taking the best course of action for their safety, and he does even more for his family, caring genuinely about his beloved wife and his deceased daughter. Fitzgerald's ability, The Great Fitzgerald (華か麗れいなるフィッツジェラルド,, Kareinaru Fittsujerarudo?) allows Fitzgerald to gain more physical power according to the money he spent; while the final battle over the Moby Dick, Francis showed strength, speed, agility, and endurance far beyond the human level. Simply by throwing off his cheques is also counted as 'spending' his wealth and activating his ability. It is noted that to activate his ability, it is not restricted to his own wealth, or even to something that cont as money itself, like a wedding ring. He and his father trained Killua to become an elite assassin. At some point during his childhood, he learned Nen. In order to control the development and actions of his younger brother, Illumi inserted a Nen needle into Killua's brain under Silva's order; the needle prompted him to run away from the battles he wasn't certain he could win. Sometime prior to the 287th Hunter Exam, he also established a partnership with Hisoka; however, this partnership is not detailed. About three years prior to the events of the Yorknew City arc, Illumi and his brothers were summoned by their father, who, having just assassinated member #8 of the Phantom Troupe for a price deemed not worthy of the job (the highest compliment he ever gives a target), admonished them to stay away from the Troupe. Following Killua's escape from the Zoldyck manor, Illumi was sent by his mother to watch over his brother at the Hunter Exam Illumi, for the most part, displays very little expression. In contrast to his expressionless demeanor, Illumi often speaks in a somewhat joyful and absent-minded tone. His ability is called "Falling Camellia" which makes people and things fall backwards with immense force. He's a member of the Port Mafia and the commander of the Black Lizard assault group. As a chain smoker, he always has a pack of cigarettes in his pocket. A veteran mafioso, Hirotsu maintains a stoic, calm demeanor, often speaking with a certain degree of respect and formality towards even his opponents and targets.
