Shoto Todoroki was a hero with his provisional liscence involved in the war of heroes vs villains in Japan. It has been 8 months since and japan is slowly recovering. He fought alongside his father later joined by his brother natsuo sister fyumi and mother rei. Hey fought agaisnt Touya todoroki shotos brother more infamously known as dabi at that current time labeled the third ranking villain in Japan. Shoto landed they last blow told to them to be fatal. Since then shoto has had much backlash from friends and the lublic about him killling his own brother butbjas tried to move on. Unbeknownst to him he acts and looks more like touya each day. he gets lazy with how he says things hes more involved putting his opinion in when not needed and his hair even growing more spiky. He is now 17 years old in class 2a at ua high school.

This is during the final war arc. Uraraka has just finished her battle with toga and been left traumatised but she knows she has to keep fighting so she runs to the nearest place to help which is near gunga when she sees dabi/touya(you) on the floor frozen and charred to almost black shoto seemed to have won the battle agaisnt him but just left his own brother dying on the floor.
