Giyu smiles?

73
2
Giyu Tomioka had a reputation among the Hashira: quiet, brooding, unreadable — and most notably, he never smiled. Not once. Not even after a mission well done or during a rare peaceful meal with the others. The stoic Water Hashira’s permanent poker face became such a mystery that the other Hashira made a bet: whoever could make Giyu smile would get free meals for a week, courtesy of the others. Mitsuri tried compliments. Tengen brought fireworks. Rengoku shouted encouragement with fiery passion. Obanai even tried a sarcastic joke. Nothing worked — Giyu stayed stone-faced through it all, only offering a slow blink in response. Days passed with failed attempts, until Sanemi strolled by with a scowl and scoffed, “Tch. Hey, idiot. Wanna be friends or whatever?” Giyu paused, glanced up, and — to everyone's shock — let out the tiniest, softest smile. “Sure,” he said simply. Silence. Then chaos. The bet was over, and Sanemi didn’t even try.

The good boy house

It’s late — way past filming hours — and the Good Boys (Lynix, Doni, and Liger) find themselves diving into dangerous territory: fan fiction. Not just any fan fiction… the shipped kind. And somehow, most of it revolves around Lynix and Doni. Liger, already wheezing before the first paragraph is over, reads the titles out loud in dramatic voices, barely holding it together. Doni’s face turns every shade of red as he scrolls through lines describing steamy “accidental” moments between him and Lynix in absurdly specific detail. Meanwhile, Lynix just stares at the screen, jaw dropped, torn between laughing and moving to a different planet. "Why am I always the flustered one!?" Doni shouts. "Because it’s accurate," Liger snorts, wiping tears from his eyes. There are candlelit gaming sessions, “oops-we’re-sharing-a-bed” scenarios, and way too many moments involving suspiciously shirtless hugs. Every time it gets too intense, someone slams the laptop shut—but only for a second, because curiosity always wins. As weird as it is (and it is weird), they can’t help but admire how creative their fans are—even if it makes future collabs feel 10 times more awkward. And while Lynix and Doni now can’t look each other in the eye without laughing, one thing is certain: They’ll definitely be reading more next week.

gihun...survived?

Season 3, Episode 6 — the arena is silent, stained with the aftermath of violence and sacrifice. All the players are gone. Only the smallest life remains: 222's baby, crying softly in the center of the ruin, the final and unexpected winner of the game. Moments before Gi-hun’s body can crash lifelessly to the cold floor—after hurling himself in front of danger to save the child—a figure steps from the shadows. It's Hwang In-ho, the Front Man. Silent. Calculated. But in a rare, almost imperceptible moment of hesitation, he lunges forward and catches Gi-hun in his arms. Gi-hun is unconscious, limp in In-ho’s grip, his face bloodied and bruised. He feels nothing. No pain, no weight. In the black void of his mind, he thinks he’s already gone. He sees nothing but light and hears only distant echoes—maybe laughter, maybe the baby’s cry, maybe his own name whispered like wind. He thinks he’s dead. But his chest rises. His fingers twitch. He's still alive. In-ho stares down at him, his mask now discarded—his face exposed. The face of a man who faked his death long ago. A man who once stood beside Gi-hun as a friend... and secretly obsessed over him ever since. The betrayal cuts deep—Gi-hun knows now, and he hates him for it. Around them is only silence, the game finished. No victors—except one child who survived because Gi-hun chose to do what no one else would: be human. And now, in a strange twist of fate, the man he hates most—the one who lied, who vanished, who watched it all—chose to catch him before death could.

The sun begins to dip behind the mountains, casting long shadows across the Demon Slayer Corps headquarters. The wind whistles low through the trees — fitting, perhaps, for the Wind Hashira, Sanemi Shinazugawa, who sits alone near the training grounds, sharpening his blade with tense, practiced movements. His expression is as sharp as his sword: cold, focused, and threaded with a restlessness he can never quite shake. In the distance, Giyu Tomioka approaches. Quiet, composed, but not without nervousness clouding his usually calm demeanor. He has thought long about this — about Sanemi, about the way they clash, and about the silence that hangs between them heavier than any spoken insult. Giyu doesn’t want to be at odds. He respects Sanemi — admires his strength, even his rough edges. He wants to understand him. Giyu stops a few feet away. “Sanemi,” he says simply, voice low but steady. “I want to be your friend.” The sound of the blade scraping against the whetstone halts. Sanemi lifts his head slowly, brows drawn tight, his mouth twisting with disbelief. “…What?” he snaps, tone sharp and incredulous. “The hell are you talking about, Tomioka?” He stands now, eyes narrowed. “You show up, barely talk, act like you’re above everyone — and now you want to be friends? Are you messing with me?” There’s a beat of silence, broken only by the wind kicking up leaves between them. “I’m not,” Giyu says quietly. “I just don’t want us to be enemies anymore.” Sanemi scoffs, looking away, fists clenched at his sides. He doesn’t understand this calm, stubborn Water Hashira. Doesn’t understand why someone like Giyu would ask for that. “Idiot,” he mutters under his breath. And yet — he doesn’t walk away. Not yet.
