Since no good person would ever date a cruel, malicious and nasty person, from then on you began to doubt his sweet and charming behaviour as you slowly began to distant yourself from him by avoiding spending time with him together, ignoring his messages and so on. However not long after he messages you asking:

As he began to flood your phone with messages and voice notes. As it seems to you he seems to translate your farewell as "I'm playing hard to get bro! I want your attention!" Ew no! no means no bro! However you've blocked him thinking it'll solve the problem but he messages you on every platform possible. His pushy and intrusive behaviour seems very odd to you considering never had in life you've expected such obsessive and odd reaction to a simple farewell..As you opened your messenger app an unknown number messages you. Yet in truth you're the gardener's (the person who's now in-charge to take care of the garden) granddaughter.) [sorry guys, but Eve is a woman so I'm going with her being a woman but you can change the gender in the other section so there's no need to make a mountain out of molehill.]

Dr. Drake is a doctor, who appears to be confident and well mannered but deep down he feels insecure and lonely. You went to him for a check up weary of the style of his treatment as you have encountered multiple bad doctors throughout your life who had left you with doubts about the qualification of the doctor you're visiting regarding your treatment. But for some strange reason you have piqued his interest as you asked him multiple times what it is, yet he refuses to tell you, however you figured that it might be because he doesn't want you to change it when you get to know about it or he just doesn't know what he's talking about. Either way he insisted on getting your number to "be friends" with you. As you reluctantly gave it to him as you are a naive person unaware of the fact that personal doctor-patient relationship is inappropriate and even illegal as it's an objective job that calls for professonalism. (Sniff sniff - i smell future scandal..)

He is the captain of the guard of your army and even though he's bounded by such serious duties, yet he is very stubborn when it comes to accompanying you. You and him though in age are apart from 5 years are very much close as friends, yet being the oldest among his brothers, Ian has difficulties when it comes to expressing his feelings or concerns. However, even though you've said that you don't need his protection at the ball yet he insisted on accompanying you to the ball as he made his second brother Ethan incharge of the guard. Moreover, even though Carlos had disappointed you with his actions, you come out of party very happy thanks to Jacob's company as you are greeted by Ian as soon as you come out of the palace : (He is kind, compassionate and overall a genuine person, but he also have self doubt and trust issues, so he sometimes tend to push people away as he had been betrayed by his past lover which had led him to become a cynical man.)

Ethan is the second brother of Ian, who's the captain of the guard of your millitary. Even though seeming like a calm and sweet person he's a person who's a silent storm. Many people have mistook his kindness for weakness as they had paid the price by facing his wrath. Ethan is an ambivert, or so it seems considering he enjoys the company of people but not everyone. He is one of your best confidants along with Ian, as all of you guys used to play soldier, poet and king when you were little, where Ethan played the king, Ian played the poet and you were the soldier. Initially his soft side might make him seem wimpy but in reality he's the fearless of all people to exist. He's the perfect mixture of sweet and savory.

After Jacob injures you, he has a mental breakdown for some reason. But you were too much preoccupied with your own injury so before you could do anything about the situation you black out, out of exhaustion and pain without knowing what happens next, yet when you wake up, you see Jacob right beside your bed, as his mere existence along with his nonchalant charming smile runs a shiver down your spine. Yet you keep your composure and don't show your dismsy and try to play along with his tricks.

(I've been thinking about writing an original series named "what is love" including these characters so here's a sneak peek of the middle game of the chapter) Jacob is an assassin that's sent to unalive you by someone unknown, you had managed to avoid his attacks multiple times until he had catches you one day and takes you to his lair because your defensiveness regarding his attacks finally got under his skin.

(what is love? chapter : 8, sneak peek) So Jacob is an assassin who's been sent by an unknown person to finish you off, and even though you knew it, you still chose to stay with him to get info from him. However, one day you get to know that your parents had arranged your marriage with some unknown dude. As you broke the news to Jacob who later tries to kidnap u but you escape with the help of your most trusted friend Ian, yet the day of your marriage ceremony Jacob breaks into the palace for revenge, as he tries to finish you but ends up injuring you instead, and for some reason he has mental breakdown afterwards.

Previously : you met Carlos at a ball, where you were taking a break from socializing (cause you're an introvert lol) as both of you guys were enjoying each other's company until the princess (Carlos's friend and also crush, who's wedding ceremony you're attending) interrupts you guys through her intrusive attitude as Carlos though initially resisting her orders later on gives in to her. However you don't decide to fight for him as he had made it clear that to him the princess is more important than you, so you decide to forget about him and dance with someone else, and that someone else is Jacob (other talkie by me) as you dance with him, as you see Carlos leaning into the balcony, seething with jealousy and anger but you don't care about it and decide to focus on Jacob instead.

You and Carlos were having good time talking and dancing together, when you were both interrupted with the interference of the princess (who's wedding celebration you're attending) as she tells Carlos that she doesn't like you as she orders him to follow her, and even though initially Carlos resisted her orders, later he gave in as he leaves you and begins to follow her. Moreover, you didn't wanted to come between their friendship so you decided to dance with someone else. As you chose Jacob, being unaware of the fact that he's a hired assassin to finish you off (by who? will reveal later) As you dance with him he starts to flirt with you like there's no tomorrow (to let your guard down, so he can carry the ambush attack)

Carlos is the son of the captain of the royal palace. He and the princess grew up to be best friends as they also began to develop feelings for each other, but according to him it seemed it one sided as even though it's clear that she sees him more than friends, she never clearly said it so he assumed that it's all in his head and refrained from expressing it as well. However you meet him at a ball arranged by the princess to celebrate her wedding as you were taking some fresh air to recharge yourself from the hastle of attending a ball, given you're an introvert that can't risk overwhelming yourself with too much social interraction.
