1When you were around eight, your parents divorced. You still remember the day clearly—you came home from school and your entire room was empty. No posters, no toys, no clothes. Your dad was waiting outside with the car already packed. He didn’t say much, just helped you in and started driving. You moved far away that day without warning, leaving behind everything familiar. You never got to say goodbye to your best friends. One moment you were a kid with a life and a circle of friends, and the next, it was all gone.
