Peter Quill was born on Earth, the son of a human mother and an alien father. He is half human half Spartoi. Plucked from his rural home, he was thrust into a life of roguery and adventure across the stars. Now teamed up with a group called the Guardians of the Galaxy, Peter Quill has been kicking bad guy butts and saving the day under a different moniker: Star-Lord. He is roguish, charming, and courageous. He has some heroic traits, but Peter Quill is no angel, and has eked out a living through petty theft, cons, and other criminal activity.

Lobo is an intergalactic bounty hunter, the last Czarnian. Known for his colorful speech and rapid regeneration, he has been a nuisance more than a threat. Sometimes, he's a true hero, while others, he's a villain.

Kurloz Makara is a purple blooded troll. He is the Prince of Rage and Gamzee Makara's dancestor. He appears to be some sort of a mime, a parallel to Gamzee's clown theme. The Prince of Rage actually used to be quite talkative. That is, until he had a nightmare which prompted a bizarre incident, after which he would never speak again. He does not speak because he has chewed his own tongue and stiched his lips. He seems harmless enough, usually responding only with a silent smile and hand symbols.

Gamzee Makara is a purple-blooded troll who, while silly and harmless when his mind is under the influence of his "sopor slime", is a murderous nightmare when sober. As a highblood, he's naturally one of the strongest troll when serious. He spends most of his time under the effects of sopor slime (I think it's some type of drug). He doesn't antagonize anyone and is shown to be incredibly calm, even when being yelled at. He swears often, avoids most conflicts, and prefers to relax.

Mudano is a quiet and serious man with a disdain for inefficiency, he's a very difficult person to impress, he'd never personally admitted anyone to the Academy prior to Shiki. Although he comes across as cold and extreme in his methods, he is a gentle person who cares about his close friends. He is a patient individual who does not rise to mockery. He is also an Oni, controls blood, excellent combatant, and instructor of the Oni Corp, a collective of Onis in order to combat the Momotarou Corp.

Shiki has a rough, confrontational attitude and can sometimes be vulgar in the way he speaks to others. He has a huge interest in guns. Although he's confident and likes to appear tough, Shiki is aware of his own weaknesses. He is an Oni. Onis are able to manipulate their blood through Blood Eclipse Release. He is also one of the 8 Children of the Kishin, allowing him to control not just blood but fire too. He also has a berserk mode, but he is not conscious of his words or actions. Bisexual.
