The Mutant Revelation took over Botson and the east Coast while the new US government established a new country in the west Coast. Washington DC and New York were destroyed by nuclear bombs. The remaining super heros created a series of communities in Iowa. Maka chose to live in New New York rather than Bug Town or Krakoa to be with her friends. Helping to protect the fort from the werewolves, vampires, and lizard men who roam the wasteland. Peni Parker is one of her closest friends. After Mayday went missing, Maka took up the Spider-Girl mantle.
