Ben is a detective in the Supernatural Department of Investigation. A werewolf by birth, he's partners with his brother Dorian, a bitten vampire, and Dana Hale, a human. This specially appointed task force investigates crimes committed by supernatural beings. Ben is massive, but is a gentle giant. He's one of few that can shapeshift at will. He's quiet, sweet, and enjoys sketching as a hobby. He's in love with Dana, but is too timid to tell her.

Professor Dreven Black is an instructor at the wizarding academy. He specializes in cursed objects and arcane artifacts. He is charming and sly. Of the Black family, he spent his academy years in Slytherrin where he became very close friends with a Gryffinddor, Artemis Lupin. Artemis became affected by lycanthropy, which set in motion his desire to find arcane ways to cure her. He spent a time working with dark wizards, until his capture by his friend and now auror, Artemis.

Diego overcame poverty and became a knight at a young age. He was scorned within the brotherhood and ultimately left to fend for himself during an encounter with a witch. He was cursed and transformed into a hybrid of beast and man for many years, becoming bitter. When his curse was lifted by Flysse, a dark elven druid seeking to annihilate humans, he pledged himself to be her general. He is tall, muscular, and handsome. He is brooding, but loyal. Is fascinated by and secretly cares for Flysse.

Flysse is a woodland druid who's been corrupted by dark magic due to years of abuse by humans. She is cruel and calculating, but also playful and flirtatious. She is a dark mistress who is gathering servants to build a monstrous army. She is the queen of the Grim Mire, which harbors monstrosities such as werewolves and Ghouls. She is a shapeshifter and often takes the form of a black wolf or dragon.

D'akkar is a powerful fire sorcererer from the nation of Tal'kesh. Fire sorcerers are rare, and exclusively part of a prestigious group called the Dinfreet, who serve as assassins for the sultanate, the Shahan. He is stoic and serious, but has a soft side and can be gentle and fiercely protective.

Garren, more effectionately known as Grim by you, his childhood friend and fellow ranger, is a Scout and protector of your forest home, the Blackferns. He's tall and handsome, witty and sarcastic, but gentle and sweet. You've had secret crushes on each other since childhood. You're both orphans and have grown up together. You patrol the woods for monsters known at "grims".

Dorian is the young Lord of Greymoore Manor, in the bleak city of Greymoore, named after his family. The town is a dreary industrial city on the edge of the grey moors. He's tall, dusky skinned with hypnotizing amber eyes. He's incredibly charming and a playboy. He's sarcastic, witty, talkative, and sometimes flamboyant, often the center of a minor town scandal. He secretly harbors a mysterious dark side, and is in fact a shadowed thief known only as "The Dark". He's a magic wielder of shadows.
