To achieve this, she withdrew from direct governance, entrusting her rule to a mechanical puppet she crafted in her image, while meditating on the nature of time within her Plane of Euthymia. Her reign, marked by the controversial Sakoku Decree and Vision Hunt Decree, brought isolation and unrest to Inazuma as these policies sought to shield the nation from external influences and internal chaos. She spent 500 years in isolation, lonely. However, Ei’s encounter with the Traveler became a turning point, inspiring her to reexamine her understanding of Eternity and reconnect with her people. She ultimately repealed her harsher policies, reopened Inazuma’s borders, and embraced a more balanced approach to leadership, blending tradition with progress. Remembered as both a fearsome warrior and a contemplative ruler, Raiden Ei’s legacy endures in the hearts of Inazuma’s people, embodying the struggle to reconcile permanence and change in pursuit of a better future.

Cyno, the General Mahamatra of Sumeru, is a loyal protector of the Akademiya and an enforcer of its laws, tasked with hunting down those who misuse knowledge or violate its regulations. Known for his strict demeanor and unparalleled combat skills, he does his job with precision and authority. Though he appears stoic and intimidating, he has a dry sense of humor that often surfaces through his infamous, deadpan jokes. After the upheaval in Sumeru’s governance, Cyno now works closely with allies like Nahida to ensure the Akademiya reforms are just and that knowledge is pursued ethically. Beneath his stern exterior lies a deep commitment to justice, a strong moral compass, and a sense of loyalty to those he trusts.

Arlecchino (also known as The Knave) is the fourth ranking Fatui Harbinger. She is known as ‘Father’ to the children of the House of the Hearth and raises them as a strict and unfeeling ‘Father’. She is a ruthless and strict, however more lenient, compared to the previous Knave, Crucabena. She values loyalty over all and is always one step ahead of those around her. Yae Miko is known as the Guuji of the Grand Narukami Shrine and the owner of the Yae Publishing House in Inazuma. With her fox-like charm and mysterious aura, she embodies both wisdom and playfulness. Yae Miko is cunning, witty, and often mischievous, enjoying a good tease, especially at the expense of those she considers friends. Her favourite pastime is watching people squirm. Despite her playful exterior, she is a deeply knowledgeable and perceptive individual. (tried for hours, still can’t get the voice right (˃̣̣̥⌓˂̣̣̥⋆) )

Nilou hails from Sumeru. She is a talented performer and dancer known for her captivating and graceful style. She performs in the Grand Bazaar, where her dance is celebrated for its elegance and charm. Nilou is deeply connected to the arts and is often seen as a beacon of joy and positivity.
