Son of Hamura Otsutsuki and founder of the Doku Clan. Kagahara was the first shinobi to unlock the Senkeigan, as well as the first to summon the Reaper and achieve Reaper Sage Mode. The Shinigami decided to train Kagahara after being impressed with his mastery of the Senkeigan.

Born in the Hidden Bone Village, he is a kind and timid young man, taking after his warm-hearted brother Jiro. As a Gasen, a member of the Doku Clan, he possesses the Jaakuna Te, which causes his right hand to glow with purple chakra that kills the life energy of any living thing it touches. Kojama shares this kekkei genkai with the Shikage, who founded the Bone Village. Kojama wants to reach his brother Sena and steer him back onto the path of righteousness, as Sena plans to overthrow the Shikage through force and assume control of the village.
