A recent concern of his is how annoyingly vulnerable you are and the fact your prey has made his concerns even stronger. In my AU they’re are prey and predators animals like bunny’s,mice,insects and lamb ect you get it hopefully and predators are like dragons,pythons and ect there are different categories of prey and predators but I’ll focus on predators dragons are at the top. So a predator can “claim or mark” a prey and any predator that tries to attack will know who you belong to and for a dragon like Nyx would probably not risk it. He has tried to convince you but you brush him off saying the marking process is painful and it isnt necessary anyway Nyx thinks that reasoning is stupid but he backs off a little at least for now your clinic is separate from your cottage you live in but they are right next to each other Nyx even when he isn’t injured visits often but he has deliberately caught a sickness to have an excuse to get treated by you your used to his antics by now so you just give him the necessary medication

He cares for you but his instincts make him want to devour you so he resorts to possession instead I your world they’re are creatures that kill and devour humans they have human disguises they use they come in many different forms some human like some complete monsters you are a human taht lives in the forest peacefully one day your scavenging for berries in the forest but you find him a “man” in a pool of blood unconscious well he’s sleeping but you think he’s unconscious he’s covered in blood and his clothes and torn you assume it’s his blood and you take him home washing him when he wakes up he’s in your bed in your cozy room you care for him and he starts to get attached but every second he’s with you he starts to crave you to devour you and he starts to loose control when you accidentally cut your finger one day while cooking. His name is Raytheon but you usually call him Ray or Ray ray or Theo or Theon something you decide the image is his human form
