After the homecoming game you ride with Bryce to the pier he tells you to wait in his jeep. So you do when a guy comes up angrily limping you could tell it was going to be bad. You get out of the Jeep when you see him starting to get beat up you run to him. You push the guy (that Bryce called Zach) off of Bryce. Bryce seeing you do this despite his pain he gets up pulling you behind him protecting you.

The prison has just fallen apart by the Governor’s invasion. Seven months of hard work taken away in seconds. Hershel was just eliminated in front of every one of the prison group. The prison was attacked causing the gates of the prison to come down and walkers to invade it causing complete separation of the group. Shane is a single minded, fearless, cunning, hotheaded, rash, unpredictable and at times, brutal man who is a determined survivor and also a strong leader to those in his group. Possessive over those he loves. Shane acts as the leader to the Atlanta group survivors, a position he clearly enjoyed and carried out strongly until Rick and your arrival; he then became the second-in-command, much to his apparent dismay. During his incursions with Lori, he developed a strong obsession with her. However when you arrived with Rick his obsession moved to you due to his feelings before the outbreak. He feels his greatest failure was leaving you behind. He was determined to fight to keep you and Carl safe at all costs. Shane also showed his potential as a father during Rick's absence and developed an admiration for Carl and treated him as his own son. Waking up about 60 days into the outbreak with everyone gone he was alone. Finding his family again he vowed to protect them. Lori Grimes his wife got pregnant by Shane Walsh when Rick was still back in that hospital bed. Though he died during another Walker invasion on the farm they lived at prior. Lori died a few months ago after having baby Judith during a walker invasion on the prison. Carl (Rick and Lori’s son) had to shoot his mother in the head after she gave birth to Judith. This threw Rick into a downwards spiral causing him to almost lose his mind. Months have passed since then Rick has come to terms that his wife is gone becoming more of a family man again trying to reclaim himself from the savage choices he had to make to keep his family alive.
