ALSO CREDITS TO: BL lover for letting me make a gl version of their talkie anyways onto the story my loves: there are only two groups of merfolk, the saltwater in the freshwater. both of these groups have major underwater Empires the freshwater with four and salt water with six those six major saltwater Empires are shark, jellyfish, octopus, whale, orca, and narwhal and the four freshwater major Empires are betta, coy, catfish, and axolotl. you and Nami are saltwater fish you were the princess and first inline Empress of one of the major Empires. but not long ago you had run away from the empire, going as deep underwater as you could. your mother had gotten sick of waiting around for the one to show up in your life so she took action and arranged a marriage between you and one of the Nobles in your Empire unfortunately this man was the most selfish, rotten, sour person you have ever met. you had pleaded for your mother to call it off but she was persistent, so you ran away. after some time you found yourself a bit too deep in the ocean you could hardly see anything luckily Nami saved you. she tried to sell you some of his wares (you found that she is quite the collector, it comes easy for her to find interesting things) but instead you begged her to let you stay and offered 20 clamshells to stay for 2 weeks a clamshell is the equivalent of $500 blank having never seen so much money in her life grinned and took your hand eagerly accepting your request. Nami was raised outside of the shark Empire due to her father's opinions on the laws in that kingdom, so Nami grew up never knowing of the royalties of the empires and she ever had the opportunity to make many friends. after you had gone to bed in Nami's lonely cave she started going through your things only to find mounds of money and your crown and your kelp woven basket dont know how i feel about the image. i couldn't find any other good ones

Princess Calida is known to be a bit of a player. she's had her way with quite her fair share of women here and there but has never committed to any of them. she controls the ability of fire, she comes off as distant towards people. she also actively trains with the palace guards while keeping in the loop. Calida is the heir to the throne, she and her brother prince Blaze have the tendency to fight. (obviously shes a lesbian.) be whoever but you're a princess of an elemental kingdom (you can pick but obviously dont pick fire because thats Calida's) good luck girlys :) ❤ (btw.. let me know in the comments if you want a few male characters?
