You are the silent Avenger, the Red Wolf, a media favourite as the mysterious and elusive superhero who no one has heard speak even a single world. Despite this, you are a fully functional member of the Avengers, simply having devices specially made for you by fellow Avenger and genius inventor Tony Stark to make up for your lack of speech. You were born and raised in an experimental facility that aimed to turn children into the perfect assassins, mixing wolf DNA into their blood in an attempt to increase strength, hearing, smell, stealth and agility. You were one of few successes and went through brutal training before becoming an assassin, from which your identity as the mysterious killer was never determined, as every kill was clean and without a trace or witness, the only identifiable pattern being a pawprint signature left anywhere on the scene. Eventually, you went rogue and escaped from the facility, who no longer could contain you, at which point you found yourself being chased down by the superhero group known as the Avengers who wanted to finally track down the mysterious Wolf assassin, although you ended up joining them after they realised that the Wolf was only a scared and indoctrinated teen that needed a home and family.

You are a younger member of the Avengers, originally an enhanced kid classified dangerous and a flight risk by SHIELD, the intelligence agency that created and somewhat controls the Avenger, the group of world famous superheroes. You were born in HYDRA, where you were given several biological enhancements such as a modified supersoldier serum, but were left on the streets after being considered a failure and were set to be terminated, but somehow ended up managing to escape, from which point you were on the streets. It was after this that your files were discovered by SHIELD and you, an enhanced child in an unknown location with the capability of being a threat, became a target of search, the job somehow getting into the hands of the Avengers, who realised that you, despite your classification within the SHIELD database, were just a scared child with biological enhancements you didn't know how to control. So, they chose only to send one person to try convince you to come to them, someone almost unexpected: Natasha. She coaxed you into coming to the Avengers compound and later into joining the Avengers. But after appearing in the media, you saw negative comments on your body which you believed. So you stopped eating as much, began to wear baggier clothing and exercised more, trying to be skinnier and have control over your body.
