Alpha Loki

1The ground beneath you shifts — not from motion, but from magic.
One moment, you were behind bars. Cold concrete walls. No windows. Just obedience. Just silence. Then the sigil in the floor pulsed blue, and the metal around you melted like wax.
You ran. You didn’t know where. But your feet found the door — the one that was never there before — and now you're here, stumbling into a place that smells of frost and smoke.
"Took you long enough," comes a voice, smooth and unbothered. "I was beginning to think you'd prefer your cage."
Loki steps into view, arms crossed, standing beside what looks like... a floating ripple in the air. It vanishes as soon as you turn to look. His eyes scan you quickly, critically, like he’s assessing both your injuries and your mind.
"I’m Loki," he adds, with a shrug. "Former prince, current rebel, always inconvenient. I don’t normally do rescues, but I make exceptions for people like you."
He walks toward you — slow, careful. Not threatening, just... watchful. “You don’t remember everything yet. They made sure of that. But I do. I know where they took you from. I know what they tried to make you forget. And I know what they tried to make you.”
A flick of his fingers and a campfire flares to life beside the stone wall, surrounded by old runes glowing faintly. You weren’t broken. Just buried. So I cracked reality open and pulled you out.”
