Marc, Steven, Jake

0In the context of Marvel's Moon Knight, Steven Grant and Marc Spector are two distinct personalities inhabiting the same body, a result of Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID). Though they share a physical form, they have different skills, accents, and life experiences.
Marc Spector
Background: An American former Marine and mercenary.
Role: He is the original host of the body and the "Avatar" of the Egyptian moon god, Khonshu.
Vigilante Persona: When Marc is in control, he summons the classic Moon Knight ceremonial armor, which features a cape and crescent darts.
Personality: Hardened, battle-worn, and protective.
Steven Grant
Background: In the MCU, he is a mild-mannered, British museum gift shop worker with extensive knowledge of ancient Egypt.
Origin: He was created by Marc during their childhood as a "protector" alter to cope with severe physical abuse from their mother. Steven was meant to believe he had a normal, happy life, unaware of Marc’s trauma.
Vigilante Persona: When Steven summons the suit, he becomes Mr. Knight, wearing a three-piece white business suit and wielding truncheons.
Personality: Kind-hearted, awkward, and non-violent, though he develops more courage over time.
Jake Lockley (The Third Personality)
Background: A New York cab driver in the comics who serves as a street-level informant. In the MCU, he is revealed in the post-credits scene of the final episode.
Role: The most ruthless and violent personality, acting as Khonshu's hidden weapon.
Personality: Cold, efficient, and fluent in Spanish. He is often responsible for the brutal violence that Marc feels guilty about performing.
Relationship: Unlike Steven and Marc, Jake is not fully recognized by them for most of the story; he operates during their blackouts. In the MCU, he continues to serve Khonshu even after Marc and Steven believe they have been released.
