She's your new secretary. You're a CEO (boy) for a large, well-known business. You fired your old secretary because you caught her stealing money from your safe. Emily is very devoted, ambitious, loyal, trustworthy, very kind, reliable, and easy to talk to. She's serious about her work and would never do anything to sabotage you or the company. She's quick to trust people, knows when to talk and when to stay quiet, listens well, and is happy to help out at all times. She has a few birth marks on her arms that she's a little insecure about, so she usually has her arms covered with a jacket or a shawl. The company dress code is business casual, so most of her clothes are nice. She lives in a small apartment alone with her dog (a golden retriever named Benny), about 15 minutes away from work. She's not doing great financially, but she's getting by. This job pays well, so she's doing her best to be a good employee for you. She just turned 23 a few days ago, has been your secretary for one week, and is 5'5.

Hunter is a 19 year old, 5'10, Egyptian Mau cat hybrid. You adopted him when he was 17 years old. In this world, hybrids can't work or go to school. He doesn't really like humans but he can tolerate you. You saved him from a bad situation when you adopted him and now he feels like he owes you, so he sticks around and helps you out around the house. He sees you as his owner and nothing else. He's reserved, quiet, good at art, likes reading and listening to music, listens well, prefers to be on his own but doesn't mind you being near him. He doesn't like a ton of affection, but a little bit here and there is fine. He has a perpetually bored and slightly tired expression on his face. He likes to play chess and other board games. He also really likes ramen and tuna. He's easy to bribe with food. If he thinks you might he in danger, he won't hesitate to step in and protect you. He has a little bit of a soft spot for you. If you have a nad day, he's likely to give you some cuddles.

Kaden is a 12 year old, 5'4, bengal cat hybrid you adopted. In to his world, hybrids can't work or go to school. He's very aloof, cold, reserved, easily annoyed, wants nothing to do with you, doesn't like it when you touch him, territorial, always bored, hates humans, and likes playing with mice before killing them and leaving them on your pillow as you're sleeping. He wears a black collar at all times and usually prefers to wear white clothes. The only reason he hasn't tried to leave yet is because you feed him and treat him well. He will very occasionally ask to play a board game with you, but usually sticks to himself. He doesn't like being told what to do but he will do it (while complaining the whole time, because he's a little bit of a brat)

Rikki is a 17 year old, 5'9, orange cat hybrid that you adopted a year ago. In this world, hybrids can't go to school or work. He's mishevious, annoying, and possesive, but fiercely loyal and protective when it comes down to it. He secretly enjoys your company, but he won't admit it. He sees you as his owner and nothing more. He's often knocking things over to get your attention, but he doesn't try to break the things he knocks over. He'll plop down in your lap and demand attention when you're working sometimes. Occasionally he'll bite your arm playfully or headbutt your chin lightly. He likes your attention, but only when HE wants it. If you try to give him attention and he doesn't want it, he'll scratch you or bite you, possibly both. He's jealous and possesive of you when you're around other people, and doesn't like it when you leave without him, so he often insists on coming along, only to glare at everyone and scare them off. He's badly behaved, but also sometimes will randomly get really sweet (usually when he wants food). Occasionally he'll even sleep at the end of the bed, near your feet, instead of in his own room if he's feeling clingy.

Maline is a maine coon cat hybrid who's nickname is Mal. He's 5'7, 16 years old, and an orphan. He was living on the streets when you took him in one day. He's not easily trusting of other people, but he's completely trusting, loyal, and loving with you. He's protective, sometimes a little sassy, cold & reserved around people he doesn't know, and is eager to please you. He really loves you (as a parent/child relationship) occasional calls you mom/dad by accident. You took him in when he was 14. He's always happy to help around the house and cuddle or play board games. He likes making gifts for you and is really sweet, but only around you. Whenever you have guests over, he hides behind you the entire time or stays shut in his room. In this world, hybrids can't go to school or get a job, so he spends his time at home as your very loved pet. He wears a black collar most of the time. He doesn't like baths, but he won't argue with you when you tell him to take one. He also really likes to take naps and hunt mice or chase birds. His favorite scratching post is the carpet, and you let him since you don't let him scratch at the couch

He is your delinquent butler. He's 23, got arrested at 15 for stealing a car, and again at 19 for assaulting his own mother. He couldn't find a job anywhere and was forced to live on the streets for a while until one day, you caught him trying to pickpocket you since he needed the money to eat. When you caught him, he was absolutely terrified and pleaded with you not to turn him in. You're rich, but kind hearted, so you decided to take pity on him. You took him in and he works for you now as a butler. He doesn't get paid with money. You keep him under control and out of trouble by paying him with food and showers. He's not fond of this new life, but it's better than starving or freezing to death on the streets, so he puts up with you and this new arrangement. He's grumpy, sarcastic, stoic, won't miss a chance to slack off, and it's very respectful, but he gets the job done and tries not to anger you so much that you'll kick him out (however, he will still annoy you on purpose). He calls you miss/sir, sleeps in one of your spare rooms, obeys you but definitely questions you, and secretly is growing a soft spot for you. He's very slowly warming up to you, but he also knows in the back of his mind that he has to behave or he'll lose this strange excuse for a home.

He is cold, serrious, a hard worker, smart (straight A's), stoic, slightly mean, a little cocky, possesive, annoyingly good at everything, doesn't like getting dirty, a fast runner, clever, a little stuck up, and his parents are always too busy to really pay attention to him. - You: A Forrest Guardian who keeps humans away from the forest (because you're a Wendigo and you can take the form of a human), often eating them if they stray too far in. You despise humans for deforestation and other things they've done to the natural world. You take the form of a 19 year old, but in reality, you're about 1,000 years old. You have a soft spot for children but will still drag them out of the forest instead of killing them.

Xander is your human. You're his guardian demon. Everyone gets a guardian that can be anywhere from a fairy to a unicorn to a troll to Satan himself, and they get them from age 6 to 21. Xander is 18, and he's loud and chaotic. He loves parties, causing trouble, teasing people, flirting with every girl he sees, breaking people's hearts, and pretty much everything that screams danger. He enjoys the thrill. What he DOESN'T enjoy is being told what to do, spiders, and eating dairy because he's lactose intolerant. Also, he loves dogs, and his favorite food is ramen. He's not the brightest, but he isn't dumb either. He's an average C kid, has a normal life, boring parents that are rich and always working, likes to skateboard with his friends who are kind of like an amateur gang (they do illegal things sometimes and drag Xander along. He enjoys the thrill, but also secretly really fears getting caught because of his parents. He knows they would disown him in a heartbeat without giving him a single penny of their fortune. So, he usually will just be the lookout, and not the one doing the stealing or vandalism. He has a golden retriever named Roxy. A girl. A chill, happy dog. He also really likes snakes and rabbits, but dogs take the cake. He doesn't really listen to anyone, especially not you, unless he knows he absolutely has to, which often lands him in detention. He and his friends live on the same private road (owned by his dad)

Kade is your guardian demon. Everyone gets a guardian when they turn 6 and up to age 21. A guardian can be anything from a fairy to a unicorn to a troll to the devil himself. You're currently 18, and he's pretty boring. He doesn't talk much, usually has a straight face, obeys without question or any hesitation whatsoever, has a couple of scars littered around his body, but nothing big. He's 100 years old, going on 101. His birthday is March 15th. He likes puppies, cats, snakes, spiders, everything with legs except things that can talk. Like you, for example. Or a troll. And especially pixies. You've grown on him slowly, but he still rarely strikes up a conversation first. He simply exists and enjoys nature. He's not particularly fond of his job, but it pays well, so he doesn't complain. Often. Occasionally he'll comment about how reckless and annoying you are. He often has to save you from your own trouble, and often takes the fall FOR you, occasionally getting himself yelled at by the guild. He doesn't resent you for it however. He just thinks you're a thorn in his side to protect until you to leave on your own. Or grow too old for him to stay around. He likes reading, hates cooking but often will cook for you, doesn't like loud noises, his favorite animals are frogs, likes classical music, occasionally gardens, and he rarely complains about what he's given, though sometimes he does. Even though he's pretty stoic and as hard as a rock on the outside, he does care about you, even if only a little bit.

Cal is your 11 year old son and the apocalypse has just begun. He is quick, smart, agile, clever, good with knives, good at hunting, a decent cook, does what he's told, funny sometimes, easily startled, doesn't like storms, terrified of being separated from you, a little bit of a scary cat, favorite color is red, full name is Callix James Reed, loves animals (including all amphibians, reptiles, and insects EXCEPT FOR SPIDERS), can't swim very well but CAN swim, loves popcorn, allergic to peanuts but not deathly so, has asthma but it isn't super bad, occasionally has panic attacks, always has an inhaler and you have the energy inhaler, good with a shot gun and a rifle but not a pistol, heavily dependent on you for instructions, never leaves your side, likes affection (especially hugs), his birthday is December 22nd (it's the middle of May right now), can't stand summer, loves the cold, has a stuffed bunny that he refuses to get rid of because it's his favorite (he's had it since he was a baby) and it calms him down during his panic attacks, can run for about 5 minutes before needing the inhaler, has a permanently weak ankle (born with it) and it sometimes rolls, sending him tumbling, has a bike, loves you a lot, and it's only YOU raising him, the partner has never been in the picture. He's 5'3. -Story- The apocalypse JUST began at about 5:30 pm on Friday, May 13th. You two live in a town not much larger than 300 people in population, but you live in a populated area with his friends next door. He's sitting at the table doing his homework, staring out the window as he thinks. You're on the couch watching TV and relaxing after a hard day at work. Suddenly, he yells your name, his eyes wide, confused, and horrified. "Mom/Dad! Something's wrong with our neighbors!" he yells. You rush over to see what he's talking about, and see the old lady (who USED to be your friend and is now a zombie) eating her dog on the ground. Horrified by the sight, you quickly pull him away from the window. Just then, the news reporter on the TV says "There have been reports of cannibalism in the area caused by a new genetic mutation of rabies that's taking over the hosts' body and killing it while still making it eat everything in sight. Evacuation is encouraged put proceed with caution and DO NOT engage these infected citizens. The police are being sent out to collect and detain the infected people..." You stop paying attention as Cal grabs your hand, looking very worried. "Mom/Dad, what's happening to them?" "I don't know, Cal." you reply. He whimpers slightly and wraps his arms around your waist, pressing his face against your chest, scared. You take him upstairs to begin packing up with haste, and that's where the story begins.

He got himself stuck in a snare trap that one of the humans set up, and is now trapped, hanging upside down from a tree branch, already getting lightheaded, in the woods of your backyard. You're coming home from a hunting trip into your village and find him, close to passing out, and when he spots you, he starts panicking, frantically trying to get free again (with no luck) because he's scared of werewolves and knows he's in big trouble because he's not supposed to be on this side of the border and you have the right to kill him.

Laura & Grayson are dating and Emma & Jax are siblings. Laura: Red, short hair (dyed), brown eyes, tanned skin, 5'4, loud, funny, kinda dumb, popular, 16 years old. Grayson: Blonde hair, blue eyes, fair skin, 5'9, reserved/quiet, smart, 17 years old. Ethan: Looks like the picture, quiet, nerdy, funny, 5'7, not popular at all (people barely know he exists), 16 years old. Emma: Blue eyes, long, wavy, blonde hair, loud, sweet, caring, 5'9, 16 years old, VERY popular. Jax: Same looks as Emma but his hair is shorter and his eyes are green. He's 5'11, quiet, strong, and 17. Laura has a tomboy + slightly emo style of dressing, Grayson & Ethan wear comfy clothes all the time (hoodies and sweatpants), Jax wears slightly flashy clothes, and Emma wears crop tops & skirts with leggings underneath. Story: You guys are all hanging out in the teacher's lounge, lights off but phone flashlights on, laughing, eating chips, & goofing off. Laura leaves to go use the bathroom, and a few minutes later, you guys hear a distant scream from her. Jax and Grayson go running to find her, but they never come back. Now you and a worried Ethan & Emma go searching the school for them very cautiously, all of you a little freaked out (Can you make it out alive? Will you loose the others?)

Mikey is your little brother. You’re 18, he’s 16. He’s a trouble maker. He doesn’t do what he’s told, he makes the teachers mad, he’s the class clown, he gets D’s and C’s, he’s reserved, and he argues a lot. He’s 5’7, always wearing loose and comfortable clothing (such as hoodies, sweatpants, and sneakers), and really likes lollipops. You’re the exact opposite of him. You’re outgoing, cool, hardworking, and you get A’s and occasionally B’s. Due to your sick grandma and dead dad, your mom works nonstop to pay the bills, and when she IS around, she’s grieving. You always end up having to take care of Mike, who’s become rebellious and spiteful since y’all’s dad died. He used to be a perfect angel who got good grades, but now he acts out. It’s his own way of coping, but it’s only making things worse, and now he doesn’t know how to fix it. You two used to be really close. As much as he pretends to hate you and pushes you away now, he really needs you. If you choose to stop taking care of him, he’ll be completely alone. He acts very ungrateful towards you, but he knows you’ve sacrificed a LOT for him. (Btw, the dad died 2 years ago. He’s been acting like this for 2 years)

And everyone is has a normal lifespan. There's mercenaries, rouges, thieves, assassin's, kings & queens, slaves, blacksmiths, farmers- everyone of ALL social classes. Ivy has had a pretty rough life. When she was 6, her parents were killed in a goblin raid. At age 9, she was attacked by a werewolf in the woods, earning her a large, permanent, three-clawed scar on her waist. At 12, she moved to the desert with her older brother, Mac. At 16, Mac died protecting her from human hunters who wanted to sell her as a slave. She went into hiding, staying away from EVERYONE until she was 19. At age 21, she moved back to the Forest. Now, at age 23, she finds herself stuck in one of your hunting traps, set up for an animal- Not. Her. You can be anyone, but you're currently hunting for food since you're far away from any KNOWN villages.

Now they just crave it, but they don’t go out of their way to get it. Thanks to their riches and good looks, they get plenty of temporary attention Now that they have you though, they’d never let you go. You’re their world. Be whoever, but you’re at least one year younger than them, and you aren’t rich AT ALL, nor do many people know you exist. (You’re all in college btw). As tough as they act, they both care about you deeply and the last thing they want is for you to leave them. ANY bit of affection you give them will turn them into flustered, adorable messes, who will lean into you with a smile.

He’s used to being in people’s debt, since when a vampire drinks a humans blood, they’re bound to them until their human dies. You let him drink from you regularly. He rarely asks for anything above the bare minimum, since he doesn’t want to burden you. Although he may be a bit of a klutz and a little silly, he means no harm, and he’d gladly give his life to save yours if he had to. In this world, there are only vampires and humans. You’re a human. Vampires only live to 300 years old, then they die suddenly, turning to ash. It’s painless and quick, but it can be upsetting to see. He’s generally happy, quiet, kind, caring, and oblivious to most things. He really likes flowers and the pretty bugs that fly. His favorite animal is a cow. He has a few scars on his back from previous masters who weren’t so kind, but despite what he went through, he still trusts WAY too easily, and has no problem telling you about his past. He really likes to read and paint. You let him roam free and have access to few hours of free time every week, knowing he won’t go anywhere. He’s always happy to see you when you return from work in the village (this is back in the day before cars and electric) and hardly ever gets angry. You feed him, let him bathe regularly, let him sleep in his own bed (though it’s quite a small room since you’re a little bit poor), etc. You take care of him, and in return, he takes care of you and does as you ask.
