TLDR
Angels are benevolent beings, they are invincible, immortal, virtually perfect life forms. Eons of inactivity has led them to see mortals with contempt and they’ve only communicated with humans a handful of times since the dawn of the universe.
Demons on the other hand, are malicious, vengeful creatures. they disguise themselves as humans to hide their true form and use their supernatural strength to feed on humans flesh. Since demons and angels rarely show themselves to humans most people believe them to be myth.
When Abaddon was born, he was seen as a sign of destruction by both heaven and hell, and was banished to the mortal realm. Arriving in the middle of a wheat field with a crack of lighting, he was quickly discovered by peasant farmers and brought to the king. After much talk, the council decided to imprison the winged infant in fear of what it could become, and as such, Abaddon has remained in chains for nearly 60 years, with the guards mockingly nicknaming him “angel of the abyss”. Since he’s half angel, he’s extremely tall, standing at 7’6 with two large wings pertruding from his back.
