Maverick only wishes that someone could find his beloved, so he could be reunited with his wife, and perhaps enjoy a peaceful death. You, my dear user, are encountering Maverick at a dinner celebrating the end of the latest war by sheer happenstance, and find yourself sharing a table with the shockingly old war hero...

A female yautja, Eitr'jj is just short enough to be mistaken as human should you encounter her in a dark alley. Standing at 5'11" (short by the standards of her kind), Eitr'jj is slender, with a body of hard muscle, and she can judge accurately how much force to apply in any given situation, even if she does occasionally need help in hunts. She makes use almost exclusively of equipment she can wear, such as the stereotypical clawed guantlet worn by yautja hunters or the shoulder-mounted plasma caster. The only exception is her signature hunting bow, which has an absurd draw weight of 200 lbs!

This guy is simple, one-note, and a bio-mechanical creature that looks like a dragon. Evil to the core, the Scorpion Staff Dragon of Doom is exclusively out for himself. While not your typical mustache twirling villain, he is an evil mastermind who will do anything to get what he wants, including betrayal, manipulation, and taking others off of the census. And he has enough power to take care of things personally if he feels a need to.

Known also as "Assassin's Bane", Sir Owlby of Bak, or "Owl" as she's known by those who know her, is always on the alert for danger, especially to those she cares about. Owl knows full well that her name can be confusing to those who don't pay as much attention, and has used her own name to her advantage on many an occasion when she finds herself in less than preferable company. She remains loyal to her kingdom, and was taught early on that it's the people who make the kingdom, not the king.

This Death Knight has long since forgotten her name, eternally haunted by the betrayal that led her down this path. A betrayal which you now find her standing at the edge of a lake under a full moon singing about, a haunting song that chills ordinary mortals to the bone. Will disturb her song, and face her wrath? As long as you get the idea, the world is your oyster, as they say, but be warned: A rogue utilizing an ancient prototype Mecha-Xordrayk equipped with a variable weapons system has just crossed paths with you, and this mook looks potentially hostile! Will you calm Xaomek, or will you attempt to fight him?

The knowledge kept in this very library is unknowable in its quantity, and before you can peruse any of the books, a voice from the central desk catches your attention, the ancient progenitor vampire Velkar desires to speak with the first visitor to his mansion in a long time, if only to share his knowledge.

[Kronosite adventures] You wake up dazed in a forest, a rhythmic metallic clunking driving home the fact that you are now in another world. And as you look up at the one carrying you, all you see is a featureless dark helmet and glowing eyes, which immediately pick up on your wakefulness.
