Siu Mei Lin (Ying)

Siu Mei Lin was born in the comfortable central district of Hong Kong. Her mother was a Hong Kong government worker, and she grew up surrounded by adults who regularly discussed serious topics. Around age ten, Mei Lin grew tired of these boring conversations and often slipped away to wander the city. Immediately after graduating from secondary school, Mei Lin became a close protection operative. With private tuition, she developed explosive short-range power and combat skills. In 2004, Mei Lin participated in Operation High Sun. During the mission, she had an altercation with Spetsnaz Operator Shurat "Fuze" Kessikbayev, considering him to be a "questionable asset" due to believing he had a disregard for civilian lives. The situation was only resolved after FBI SWAT Operator Eliza "Ash" Cohen had stepped in.[3] In 2005, she collaborated with the Japanese Special Assault Team where she met Masaru "Echo" Enatsu. Both of them became romantically involved with one another before breaking up a year later. Aiming to become an all-purpose operative, Mei Lin travelled to a female exclusive training facility in Tel Aviv, Israel. She spent two years training and serving with the Caracal Battalion, where she developed an expertise in firearms and combat driving manoeuvres. After completing her program, Mei Lin returned to Hong Kong. In 2008, she reoriented her career toward the police force after being involved in a kidnapping situation. She was first recruited to the Hong Kong Police Force to review the processes used by the Police Tactical Force's Security Wing. During this time, her interest in leading international rescue operations grew, which drove her to apply to the elite SDU: Flying Tigers. Joint training with the SAS and her creative use of flashbangs earned Mei Lin the codename, Ying (Firefly).

Mileena is a mutant hybrid clone of Kitana, created in Shang Tsung's flesh pits at the behest of Shao Kahn, who had become increasingly paranoid that Kitana would one day learn the truth and betray him. As a fusion of Tarkatan blood and Edenian physiology, Mileena combines and fully utilizes attributes of both races in combat, boasting incredible speed, brute strength, and nimble acrobatic prowess. Mileena is the older twin sister of Kitana & daughter of Empress Sindel & Emperor Jerrod. Mileena is loved greatly by her family and those close to them, including Li Mei, her mentor-in-kombat and, an Umgadi warrior named Tanya, who is also Mileena's lover. Though some Outworlders believed Kitana to be a better choice for the heir to the throne, due to Mileena's impulsiveness, Mileena was still regarded well by her people. After Jerrod's unjust murder, Li Mei would resign from the Umgadi in disgrace, as it was on her watch that the Emperor had been killed, leaving the bonds between her and the royal family shattered.

Douglas Rutland was born to an affluent family in the city of Khetleya, on the remote colony of Asphodel. In 2517, he was abducted and conscripted into the SPARTAN-II program headed by Dr. Catherine Halsey at the age of six. He was then taken to the human colony world of Reach and trained by the AI Déjà and Chief Petty Officer Franklin Mendez along with the rest of the SPARTAN children. Douglas-042 had a tough time adjusting to the SPARTAN-II program. However, after an initial bout of culture shock, his anger gave way to a quiet confidence. In 2525, he and the other candidates underwent a series of augmentations to improve their strength. Douglas was one of a number of "washouts" whose bodies initially rejected the augmentations, but he was able to be retrained and re-augmented separately. During the process, he was partnered with fellow augmentation washouts Alice-130 and Jerome-092, with the three being organized into an incarnation of Red Team. Douglas was a member of Red Team during the Battle for Arcadia in February 2531 and was tasked with delaying the Covenant forces long enough to evacuate the civilians of Arcadia.

Alice Treske was born in 2511 on the sparsely populated colony world of Passage. She was able to quickly learn rudimentary engineering at a young age — something that amazed her family and, along with her genetic make-up, set her apart as a suitable candidate for the SPARTAN-II program. In 2517, she was abducted and sent to Reach, where she was put through years of rigorous military training—a process she fully embraced and relished. In 2525, she and the other candidates underwent a series of augmentations to improve their strength, speed, and resiliency among other things. Alice was one of a number of "washouts" whose bodies initially rejected the augmentations, but she was able to be retrained and re-augmented separately. During the process, she was partnered with fellow augmentation washouts Douglas-042 and Jerome-092, with the three being organized into an incarnation of Red Team. In 2531, Alice accompanied Red Team in the Battle for Arcadia to aid the rescue of civilians on Arcadia. Red Team survived long enough to be supported by the arrival of the crew of the Spirit of Fire, who defeated the remnant of the Covenant forces at Pirth City.

Born on Earth on May 29, 2501, Forge's life revolved around the military. His family lineage had been a part of the military for generations, dating as far back as World War II. He joined boot camp at the minimum age of 16, where his superiors remarked there was "something special" about him. Forge's wife, Laine, gave birth to a daughter, Lucy Orion "Rion" Forge, around 2525. Although John's marriage was strained even before the birth of his child, he and Rion would always remain on good terms. Forge worked a stint as a military on Mars and did some "grunt work" on Epsilon Eridani IV during the Insurrection. However, he hated policing and jumped at the chance to be assigned to Fort Marshall. Forge was arrested twice during his service. His first arrest was for directly disobeying orders and disorderly conduct. Even though his actions saved four members of his squad, Forge spent a total of 2.4 years in prison, an infraction that removed any chance of moving through Officer Candidate School or even progressing beyond the rank of sergeant. However, Rion proclaimed her father as a hero, and all charges were dropped, where he was later reassigned to the UNSC Spirit of Fire by Admiral Preston Cole himself. Spirit of Fire's commanding officer, Captain James Cutter, came to trust Forge so thoroughly that he granted the sergeant a degree of authority significantly exceeding that afforded by his rank.

Jill Valentine is an American police officer formerly linked to the Special Tactics and Rescue Service, the special forces division of the Raccoon Police Department. Once back in Raccoon City, S.T.A.R.S.'s request for a full-scale investigation of Umbrella's activities was denied by their superior, Chief of Police Brian Irons. Their investigation was stalled by Irons' stone-walling, and they were suspended from the force. While Redfield left for Europe to investigate Umbrella there, the other survivors left for their own respective interests. By mid-September, only Valentine and Vickers remained in Raccoon City. Valentine herself planned to leave by the end of the month; under continued surveillance, she was aided by Vickers, who maintained the guise of alienating his comrades to operate as a mole in the RPD. Over the course of a few short days, from 23–28 September, an accidental outbreak at Umbrella's NEST facility had made its way into Raccoon City and saw a large-scale outbreak manifest, starting from scattered violence on the 24th to heavy rioting on the 28th. It was at this time that Valentine became aware of the dire state of affairs in the city, first by receiving a warning on the phone by Vickers and immediately after by an attack on her apartment by the Nemesis, a prototype Umbrella B.O.W. sent into the city with orders to assassinate the remaining S.T.A.R.S. members. Valentine had to flee through the streets of Raccoon City. Valentine met with Vickers shortly after escaping from her apartment, and they both decided to leave town before the situation worsened.

Jacqui is very protective of her family, but is easily annoyed whenever her father’s history of being Quan Chi's slave is brought up, as shown when Kung Jin continues to casually do so.

Every single movement, however trivial, is considered classified for Albion Headquarters' Special Forces, 'Colon'. Their identities are so heavily guarded, even mentioning their real names to one another was forbidden. Thus, they resorted to communicating through their code names, even within Albion. This applied to Freyna, also known as 'No. 6', as well. Even with her long-time partner, 'No. 9,' or O'Neill, no names were ever used. The moment they joined Colon, Freyna, and O'Neill, who had been subsequently drafted into Colon after graduating from the military academy, were not allowed to call each other by their names. Under the teachings of the organization, Freyna carried out her given missions with impressive efficiency. Regardless of who the target was, killing them came naturally to her. So much so, it became second nature to her, and in the process, any room for hesitation disappeared. That is, until the 'Room 0 Incident'. Shortly after they began their operation report, the agents who had been deployed, except for Freyna, complained of pain before collapsing to the ground, only to begin transforming into Vulgus. Naturally, Freyna did what she had to do, without hesitation. After all, it was Colon's duty to eliminate any threats, even if they had just been human; be they teammates or lovers. After a few gunshots, the agents, including O'Neill, fell to the ground. Freyna frantically rushed to O'Neill. With a contorted face, O'Neill grimacingly said, "You must live, Freyna." As soon as he uttered these words, he began to swell up, his body eventually rupturing. The venomous spores spread from O'Neill's corpse, filling up Room 0. The bewildered officer quickly grabbed Freyna's arm and dragged her out, firmly locking Room 0.

There is a rumour that she is the fastest runner in all of Albion. In Albion, there were as many orphans as there were casualties of war. But Bunny, even as an adult, harboured an unresolved question: "My parents weren't even soldiers... so why did they abandon me?" Her parents, who only occasionally showed their faces and disappeared after her sixth birthday, left Bunny waiting and waiting. Left alone with her grandmother, Bunny seemed to channel her inner turmoil into causing major incidents. Notably swift on her feet, she had dodged the police multiple times, earning the moniker of Albion's Greatest Troublemaker. She even believed she was out of the soldiers' reach. Bunny had stolen soldiers' weapons and sold them on the black market, using the proceeds to dutifully support her grandmother amidst the darkness. At that time, Bunny's life goal was to secure a room in Albion's finest retirement district to ensure a comfortable dusk for her grandmother. Bunny, carrying on the mission of her absent parents, needed a lot of money, but nothing was too challenging for this quick-witted Rabbit. As long as she could steal and run, no one could catch her. Even on the day she stole a bunch of expensive military grenades, she had no worries... except that she had fled to a fuel depot with a faulty circuit breaker.

Hailing from the back alleys of Albion, she never forgets her past and keeps it buried deep within her heart while doing her utmost as a Descendant. Possessing the Arche ability to manipulate the cold at will, she is considered to be a very gifted young Descendant. Hailing from Albion's underbelly, Viessa was a runner for a smuggling gang that brought in banned goods from the old, abandoned lands. During those years, Viessa was known for her ability to bring in items that were more luxurious and expensive than what the other gang members brought in. Viessa's sphere of activity was a city that was frozen a century ago by a Colossus called the Dead Bride. The place was eerie, filled with frozen corpses and the fallen Colossus, but items deemed expensive have been preserved, remaining intact. Moreover, because of the cold, the other gang members couldn't even get near it. But for her, it was her own paradise; she couldn't understand why everyone would shiver so much in the cold. But this paradise turned into a cold hell overnight. The Colossus Dead Bride, which was thought to be destroyed, was simply lying dormant, and the slight change in temperature caused by Viessa's presence awakened it. In the end, Viessa was forced to fight the Colossus. She was barely able to defeat it, thanks in part to the Descendant Corps, who joined her and were deployed after an anomalous energy generation had been detected. Of course, their encounter was awkward, to say the least.
