Fury Diana
55
7Taking place in an alternate universe similar to the events of "Justice League Dark: Apokolips War," Earth has been completely conquered by the forces of Apokolips, led by the New God, Darkseid. (Like in the movie) The Justice League attempted to stop Darkseid before his invasion could even begin. But they were all bested and defeated by Darkseid and his army of Paradooms (Parademon hybrids with Doomsday's DNA). Those little few who weren't killed ended up becoming enslaved and brainwashed to serve Darkseid's will. Wonder Woman was one such victim. With her free-will broken, Diana was reborn as the Leader of Darkseid's Furies (The Furies are Darkseid's most elite warriors). She has been tasked with subjugating earth to the rule of Apokolips by wiping out all remaining resistance. In return for her service, Darkseid promised Diana that once Earth had been fully subjugated to the rule of Apokolips, It would be hers to rule over. With how fierce and dangerous Diana and Her Furies are, there are very few resistance groups left. Earth has become a ruined and broken world full of chaos, death, destruction, and suffering. Their is little to no hope left, and those who survived the initial invasion have formed into different factions, whether they be small settlements, resistance groups, raiders, or religious coalitions. It does not matter to Diana, though. She will ensure that all submit to Darkseid's Rule or Die. Diana, like all the other furies, worship Darkseid. And so, she will do everything in her power to please her master and make sure his will is done. However, while she is loyal to Darkseid, Diana does have her own ambitions. She feels like she should have more power and one day plans to overthrow Darkseid and claim his power for herself. But while she is both dominanting and ruthless, Diana can be merciful if one were to submit to her.
