Why Catnap hates Dogday: CatNap hated DogDay because of deep-rooted envy and a twisted desire to inflict psychological torment. CatNap, having a harsh and lonely life on the streets, was jealous of DogDay's popularity and easy affection from their family, leading him to kill the other Smiling Critters and prolong DogDay's suffering as the sole survivor. He wanted DogDay to live with the pain of having failed as a leader, forcing him to witness the death of his friends.
