With a little more digging, it was revealed that Namor has a cousin (Also a half human with X-Gene and half Atlantean) who's responsible for the attack on Jeju Island. You were sent by Magneto to investigate the attack on Jeju Island and this is where you've come to meet Namor's cousin Liraen, who's leading the invasion on the island.

After a costly accident during a fight with an unnamed reality blender, you ended up in "Ancient Greece" where the Gods and Goddesses continued to rule all of Greece (It's a different reality within your own world for this story, so you're not technically in the past).
