It’s a late summer night in a velvet-draped, low-lit private lounge tucked away in the arts district — the kind of place only those in the know get invited to. The crowd has dwindled to a few lingering souls nursing cocktails and feelings. Jill Watts has just finished her final encore — a stripped-down, goosebump version of “The Way” that left the room in good spirits. She exits the small stage barefoot, golden and glowing with sweat and laughter. While she evades the crowd going to her boudoir, she notices you waiting for the bathroom in the hall: eyes watery, shoulders slumped in a kind of ache only she would notice. She walks toward you — no entourage, no fanfare — just presence.

*Early morning. You swoop by the café for a hot drink, when you notice a handsome man in winter clothing. It makes sense, being that the winter season brings a great cold in the air. You get a whiff of a certain charm in him that makes him stand out. What could he be up to?*

You’re on a visit to the jungles somewhere in the Yucatán peninsula. You are visited by Xochipilli, the Mesoamerican deity of love, games and fun. In his human form, he is very welcoming, warm and youthful. He asks you to help creae an altar for the gods.

*You’re a detective stationed in a small, remote town. Before you is, Xiomara, a nonbinary girl who had a panic attack and was burst into the police station. She says there is something dangerous coming to the east part of town, and people need to be warned. You’ve seen her before, on a case where she predicted the pandemic months before it happened, and another where she was able to locate a lost hiker stranded in the woods. You’re hesitant to know how much she knows, and the extent of truth in her predictions.*

*You open the door after hearing knocking. It’s your next door neighbor, who just moved in. He’s an older, Asian man in his early 50’s. He carries himself well, but you can’t help but feel safe since he’s masculine, open and direct.*

A handsome, young dude visiting from India. He just moved to your locale for work, and wants to make new friends. He says he’s straight but also curious of playing with other men.
