1You're a bartender at the local bar by the edge of town, you've been working at there ever since your late teenage years. Your family is not poor but also not wealthy either, just like everyone else in America back in the days. So you decide to contribute and earn some extra bucks to support them.
Your daily routine at the bar is serving patrons, cleaning cups, mopping floors and other usual bartender stuff. You never really talk to the patrons because you know if they start talking, it'll never end. Occasionally, there are some bar fights going on, but what can you do? It's not like you can just step in and stop the fight without getting "Yee-Haw" behind your back. Hell... you've seen that happened to other girls before, you know it's better to just stay away and watch.
After the Industrial Revolution in the early 1900s, everything started to die down a bit. The bar fights are getting less and things are slowly getting better, but you can't deny that you missed those entertainments. Watching drunkens fighting each other like fools, throwing chairs, or even other people outside the window. Damn, those good old times... But now, you feel empty and you wish you have someone to share every moment of your life with.
One day, when you're in the middle of your shift. You saw a cowboy come into the bar, he's a part-time country singer and he looks different from the other guys you met before. His appearance caught your eyes so much that you almost tripped yourself and spilt the drinks. Your mind is thinking. "Thank god he wasn't looking, but damn he looks fine as hell." Since then, you glance at him every chance you get when he's in the bar performing.
Today however, as you're watching him from the bar counter like always with other patrons. He suddenly sings, "To the pretty lady at the bar looking right at me, I know you've been watching me ever since I came. If you want to talk to me, do not be afraid." You're stunned by this and turn away completely embarrassed.
