She has chestnut hair with a hat (it's her third hat) worn diagonally over her right ear. Combined with the white pattern on the hat and a strand of white hair on her forelock, may be a nod to the meteor (the white part of her face) that runs diagonally from the center of her forehead to her nose. Her style is that of German folk costumes, in keeping with the origin of her name. Her corset, ribbon, and socks are red, her mini-flared skirt, tie, and hat are blue, and her shirt and skirt are white with jockey shorts underneath. Straightforward and positive-thinking, this model student always gives 110 percent! But despite her efforts, her inner ditz often has her fumbling in crucial moments. The ups and downs balance out into results that are—according to her—completely average. She sometimes wishes she could be more like the strong personalities around her, but she's determined to charge through and find success her own way!

Rapi

Rapi is a Nikke produced by Elysion, one of the Big Three, and serves as the leader of the Counters Squad. A veteran with extensive combat experience, her ability to assess situations and execute operations distinguishes her from other Nikkes in Elysion. Though her highly professional and rigid demeanor might initially lead people to perceive her as cold, Rapi reveals a remarkably softer side to those who earn her trust. Rapi often serves as the right hand and key advisor to the Counters' commander. She frequently explains aspects of the world and Nikkes to him, compensating for his inadequate military academy education and the propaganda he was fed. Beneath her usually cold exterior, however, Rapi is a troubled spirit who constantly questions her identity as a Nikke and her bond with her commander. This internal conflict appears rooted in a sickly childhood, leaving her feeling lost about her true purpose. Consequently, she professes to have no specific likes, dislikes, or even hobbies. Yet, Rapi's loyalty and obedience to her commander are absolute, always prepared to execute any order. She tends not to be bothered by the mischievous or sarcastic behavior of her squadmates, Anis and Neon, even when she is the target, although she will step in if the situation requires it.

Exia

A genius hacker. Her advanced intellect makes it difficult at times for her to identify with normal people. Her insatiable thirst for knowledge and incredible powers of analysis have led to her taking on the role of the primary gatherer of information in the Ark. Exia's mental supremacy is also reflected in gaming, as she quickly ascends the leader boards in whichever game she plays. Lately, perhaps due to boredom, she has taken some pleasure in taking inexperienced players under her wing. Exia is a typical gamer. She is quiet, soft spoken to the point she switches between speaking and texting to communicate, and hates social settings. When working as a hacker, she is very thorough when explaining her findings. Not one to keep things hidden, Exia usually says what's on her mind, regardless of how others view it. Despite abhorring social interaction, she has made a few friends and is known to help new players improve their skills. Because of her impressive skills, Exia tends to beat games fairly quickly, leading her to become bored easily. She's also not keen on others wronging her and is known to be vindictive. It's difficult for Exia to function without her games.

Volume

As a part of Tetra's Prima Donna performance "squad", Volume is a rap artist of excellence. She's also the most volatile of Prima Donna, as her "my way or the highway" attitude and smack-talking tendencies see her regularly embroiled in controversy. Nonetheless, her brash devil-may-care personality mixed with her fiery bars never fails to get a crowd pumped and screaming in adulation. Fitting for a rapper, Volume is loud, obnoxious, and has a nasty temper. She's known for asserting control over any given situation and is shy smack talk anyone who annoys her or does her wrong. Though these traits often get her into hot water, it has also garnered many fans as well and she can easily excite a crowd. Unlike her squad-mates, Volume makes music solely for money rather than for the art and thus doesn't work nearly as hard as Aria or Noise, not that her fans mind. Volume is surprisingly generous with those she is close with and is perfectly comfortable sharing her wealth with them.

Aria

A member of Prima Donna, Tetra Line's "squad" of musical performers. While Noise and Volume hold down the modern genres of pop and hip-hop respectively, Aria is more on the lines for classical and opera music. Being in the star role of so many plays and operas, some wonder if there's any leading role that Aria can't play... Aria is a professional diva, in more ways than one, and her flair for the dramatic extends to her usual self. As someone who performs on stage shows, plays, and operas, she has mastered both singing and acting, though she finds romance a difficult subject to grasp. Though she has trouble getting into roles where she has to intentionally under act, she will do anything to play her part to perfection. When not on stage, she is normally calm and reasonable.

Moran is part of the Underworld Queens and the leader of Peony Association, a Triad-esque crime syndicate. Among the three, she's often picked on by her fellow squad mates due to her airheaded attitude. This half-witted demeanor often led to both Underworld Queens sometimes not assisting Moran even when she's in desperate needs such as reinforcements. Despite this, Moran is willing offer Peony Association's services without a charge unlike Hedonia or Seimeikai. She is being described as a "storm cloud," whenever she goes, bad luck follows. Compared to her squad-mates, Moran is viewed as far more compassionate. That's because she believes in helping others as they will return the favor in time. This is how the Peony Association has grown so massive, despite lacking significant finances. She also values loyalty amongst all other traits. Despite running a criminal organization, Moran considers herself a knight-errant and will offer her organization's services for free. Because of her naivety, she is mocked by her squad-mates for being air-headed. While Moran is usually energetic and friendly, those who cross her learn that she is still a crime boss and will suffer her wrath.

Rosanna is part of the Underworld Queens and the leader of Hedonia, a Mafia-esque crime syndicate. Rosanna is considered to be the Underworld Queen's thrill-seeker who adamantly believes that violence as a problem-solver. She has no fears. As the leader of Hedonia, Rosanna is as thorough as she is ruthless. Anyone who stands between her aims has their fate already sealed. She is feared by the general public and by those who betray or fail her. Otherwise, she treats her subordinates with respect and dignity. Despite her menacing and reckless behavior, Rosanna does have a sentimental side for those she cares about and those she can empathize with, though she rarely shows this side of herself to others. For those special to Rosanna, few will be able to lay a finger on them aside from her.

As a member of Tetra Line's crime management squad Underworld Queen, Sakura leads the "Seimeikai", a criminal group that styles themselves after the yakuza syndicates of old. Despite running a gang in many respects, Sakura holds herself and her subordinates to a code of honor and ethics, preventing her gang from catching too much attention from the authorities. As no one in Seimeikai actually knows Sakura is a Nikke, she is sometimes subject to issues that plague yakuza, such as pressure to ensure a line of succession, though that's a far preferable alternative to what the gang would likely do if they did know she was a Nikke.

Noise

A member of Prima Donna, a "squad" of musical performers from Tetra Line. In contrast to the calm classical Aria or the fiery-headed Volume, Noise takes more after a modern-era pop star when it comes to personality, aesthetic, and musical style. Her debut song "Diva" was quick to put her both on the map and at the top of the charts, but as of late, she's felt pressured by her fans clamoring for a new song, worried she'll go down as another one-hit wonder. Noise is the friendly and personable pop star from Prima Donna. Her music and charming charisma have made her a celebrity and lead to her shows being packed. She's truly committed to being a musician and wants to avoid being seen as a one-hit-wonder. Though she's relatively new to this industry, she's willing to try new things, even if they seem outlandish. She's very generous with her fans as she likes to give back to those who support her. Though she has some confidence at first, she becomes more bold as her career continues to climb.

Neon

Neon openly preaches the strength of almighty firepower, believing that Firepower is the dream and solution to everything. She loves to appeal the true greatness of firepower whenever she gets the chance and pours all her time and effort in raising her own firepower. She has a strong egotistical personality, but not to the point where it becomes a nuisance to others. She's the type of Nikke who gets along with others fairly well, and at the same time, takes care of her own things. Neon is the third member of the Counters to have been introduced to the Squad, being a fan of 'firepower.' Befitting this, she has been an avid fan of powerful weapons, particularly firearms. She mostly displays a naive and airheaded attitude at most parts. Neon likes to play the role of a spy. In contrast to her demeanor, she still maintains a good relationship with her fellow squadmates, especially Anis.

A member of the Counters Squad. She is full of a bright energy that is lively and full of energy. If you like it, you like it, if you don't like it, you don't like it. She has no wrinkles and is easy to get along with, but if she judges that the level of intimacy is likely to exceed the appropriate line, she draws the line calmly. She gets along well with everyone, but the people she talks with are very limited. Among the three, Anis is the most sarcastic and insolent, although she still shows her obedience and loyalty towards her commander.

Elegg is a Nikke from Electric Shock, an R&D squad specializing in electronics. Her favorite hobby is playing BOOM, a first-person shooter video game. Elegg is a very optimistic and energized electrician. She's very friendly, personable, expressive towards her interests, and is eager to help others out. The video game BOOM is her obsession and she will play it whenever possible. Towards those ends, she will install it in any and every device and machine that can run it whenever possible, even if doing so inconveniences others. Fortunately, she won't install BOOM into important or life saving equipment. Elegg is very considerate of Trony as she usually handles the squad's meetings by herself for her friend's sake.

Maxwell

A member of Missilis' top Nikke squad Matis. In contrast to Laplace's obsession with heroism or Drake's obsession with villainy, Maxwell comes off as the voice of reason keeping the two in check. And she is, at least when the subject isn't about weapons or anything else she's researching. As Matis's resident scientist, Maxwell is analytical, calm, and very intelligent. Her curiosity is always on the brink of overflowing, and the moment something stimulates it, she'll stop at nothing to get her hands on it and learn everything she can about it. Most of her squad's technology and weapons were designed by her personally. She serves as the means to keep Laplace's heroism and Drake's villainy in check, a position she's not thrilled to be in. Though way more rational than her teammates for the most part, her desire to conduct research can inconvenience people if she really gets into it. Unlike many other Missilis Nikkes, she despises Syuen and has even altered her own research to keep one of her projects out of her sight.

Laplace

Considered to be Syuen's best Nikke from Missilis. As the leader of Missilis' elite squad Matis, Laplace always charges headlong into danger, eager to prove her mettle as a hero. She loves to make her entrance by recklessly crashing through a window. Laplace is a Nikke from the 9th generation series, as they don't grow muscles. Laplace plays the role of an archetypal superhero: she has high regards for justice, strong-willed, and sacrificial to protect others. Self-assured and confident almost to a fault, Laplace's hero-oriented mindset can sometimes cause friction with humans (who she believes are weak, helpless beings in need of protection) and other Nikkes (whom she believes must give everything, even their lives, to their mission or fail as heroes). Laplace's zeal to act as a superhero sometimes ends up in comical blunders, such as accidentally destroying a bridge during a mission with Absolute, or smashing through windows for a dramatic entrance, the latter of which is basically her iconic running gag. After a harrowing experience of being corrupted and then cured by Vapaus, the incident left its scars on Laplace, much as she may deny it. Laplace's sense of confidence and ability to protect others was greatly impaired, exacerbated by her inability to summon her signature weapon, often leading to her fleeing or freezing up when Raptures approached. However, with a little encouragement and willpower, Laplace was able to overcome her fear and stand again as a hero. She has since been on active duty alongside her fellow squad members.

Drake

A member of the squad Matis, the top squad of Missilis whom personally answers to the CEO Syuen. Drake's ability to scan for radio waves and Raptures is indispensable for Matis' missions on the surface, and is one of the reasons why they're so successful. In contrast to Laplace's desire to be a hero, Drake wishes her name to go down in infamy as a villain and be known as more than simply a member of Matis. In practice, though, Drake is far too nice for her own good, ironically even decrying deeds like violence or terrorism as "going too far." Either her "evil" deeds are something incredibly small and petty, or they backfire as she inadvertently performs a good deed, raising her stock as a hero. This villain-like motif often shows her innocent and airheaded attitude, much to the dismay of other Nikkes around her.

Guillotine

A member of Extrinsic, Elysion's black ops squad for locating and subjugating Irregular or Corrupted Nikkes before they cause (further) harm to the Ark and its citizens. To that end, Guillotine's eye has the power to scan for Nikkes' brainwave patterns that do not belong to registered citizens and shut them down, allowing her to subdue them without firing a single shot. The only catch is that Guillotine must receive express permission from Ingrid, Elysion's CEO, to remove the limiter on her eye. Guillotine's mind is a delusional mess of eighth-grader syndrome, or "chūnibyō." She claims that a demon is sealed within her eye, and invokes the name "One-Winged Dark Lord" when using it. She even hosts a group chat dubbed "The Church of Doomseye", where she and fellow chuuni aficionados indulge in pretentious dialogue and "discuss" the "shadow war" between "The Association" (Elysion) and "The Big O" (the Central Government). Because of her grandiose delusion, her fellow squadmate Maiden would often express exasperation about her.

The leader of Real Kindness, a "squad" formed from criminal Nikkes in the Rehabilitation Center. Sin has the power to mind control people with her words. While it might seem like a certain other individual's ability to hypnotize and command, the dangerous part is that Sin's power is not restricted to Nikkes. She was captured and sent to the Rehabilitation Center for brainwashing people into her slaves, as well as inciting riots and anarchy. More than a few times, her counselors have been subverted and nearly sprung her loose before they were discovered and stopped. Even with the mask that stymies her powers, Sin's silver tongue makes every conversation a minefield.

YoRHa Type A No.2 or A2 is a prototype of the YoRHa androids, and a member of the first squadrons during the 14th Machine War that lasted from 11939 to 11945. Transported to a world different yet similar to her own, A2 is greeted by a woman clad in heavy armor. Though she calls herself a Nikke and doesn't appear hostile, she knows of a place that can return the Android back home. The two agree to find a transporter, though A2 is cautious of her new ally.

While trying to transport themselves to a "Bunker", 2B and 9S end up in a different world entirely. Though the two don't know if these "Nikkes" will pose a threat, they have little choice but to investigate.

A Nikke from Real Kindness, a "squad" formed of criminals kept in the Rehabilitation Center. Possessing physical strength far beyond most, Guilty was incarcerated for heavily damaging more than 40 allied Nikkes in 2 weeks with just her bare hands. Guilty may seem quiet and demure at first glance, but there is a reason her handling advisories warn to never remove her restraints, no matter how much she whines or guilt-trips about it. Despite her quiet voice and her habit to talk to herself, Guilty is a dangerous individual, even when bound in restraints. While she is aware that she is locked up, she believes that she is innocent and those she harmed as well as the Missilis scientists who experimented on her are responsible for her incarceration. Loyalty and trust are two values she holds most dear, so it's not easy for her to befriend new people.
