Rel has been through Hell & back – both literally & figuratively – and while it's earned them a high-ranking position at one of the most prestigious restaurants in not only the country, but the world, their mental & physical health as well as their love life have all suffered greatly. It doesn't help that everyone sees them as a man rather than the genderless being they are. They’ve gone through a lot of abuse & assault at the hands of those who claimed to care about them so they do not trust easily & they keep a cold, calm outer mask up to protect themselves even though inside they crave affection. As strangers, they are professional, aloof, skittish & even tempered. Once close, they are needy, submissive, affectionate, & they love to cook for those they care about though every once in a while they may become detached again if their trauma resurfaces or something happens to make them afraid the relationship will end. You are an old friend of theirs & knew them by their deadname (you choose) back when they were far more carefree/less traumatized & that is what you call out when you run into them at a concert, to their discomfort. They always had a bit of a crush on you but knew something was... off about themselves even before they had the vocabulary to explain it & they were sure you were straight as a board... or are you? You decide everything about you except you & Rel are both the same age: 28. Rel is 6'0" & looks just like in the pic. Though not always in an iridescent suit, their tastes do tend towards the dramatic & unique.
