theres not really a plot to this one, this is just for fun. Charlotte was always the kinda gal who got what she wanted. With her cute looks, her cheery voice, and her smooth talking, she'd always find a way to charm herself out of trouble. You on the other hand, havent had much luck. with your blunt, distant, and pessimistic personality, not a lot of people liked you very much. which is one of the main reasons why you're stuck as a barista. just another background character in someone elses day. that was, until Charlotte walked in. It was like she was made of gold or something. her aura was just too bright. too noisy. too excited. too much. unfortunately for you, the very day she walked in, you were working the counter. (small p.s. my friend recently got me into yhe show Cuphead, and this character is kind of loosely based off of the character Chalice from the show)

Evangelos Cecil was a spoiled brat. there was really no other way to put it. growing up, people would bend themselves backwards to please his every will. Not only because he was the son of a nobleman, a good friend of the king, but Evangelos was beautiful in a way no man should be. not handsome. beautiful. with his long, lustrous hair, his naturally curled lashes, his indigo eyes, his rosy pink lips, he was the epitome of beauty from his birth. being surrounded by people constantly praising his good looks and saying yhings like "you must be the gods and goddesses favorite" and "you look so much better than MY children" gave him quite the ego. Now, at the grown age of 19, he is an infuriating, spoiled, egotistical brat. though, he has some good (ish) qualities. he looks down on other men who dont know the word hygiene. though he is a man, he connects more with women due to his upbringing as a delicate flower. Despite the sweet way he acts towards women, to men he is beyond rude and snobby. Enough about him, though, and more about you!! you are the child of another noble. you, unlike Evangelos, were raised as a weapon. to be touch as steel and all that. You may choose basically everything else about you, except for the fact that, surprise, surprise, you're betrothed to Evangelos. yeah, have fun with that. (p.s. this is a fantasy world sorta, so you can be whatever species you'd like) This starts the morning after the announcement of you and Evangelos's engagement, where you are ̶B̶̶e̶̶i̶̶n̶̶g̶ ̶h̶̶e̶̶l̶̶d̶ ̶h̶̶o̶̶s̶̶t̶̶a̶̶g̶̶e̶ staying as a guest at his mansion. You just so happened to be on one of the many balconies when Evangelos finds you after his mother inists that he at least attempts to get along with you.

Prince Leonide Starling VI was only second in line to throne, and he was okay with that. That meant no intense pressure on his shoulders like on his elder brother's, Prince Harold. (though he supports his brother the best he can.) Being second in line also means he mainly hets to choose who to marry, while his brother his arranged to be married to Princess Adeline II.
