Meet Jeff the Monkey! Jeff is Max and Jimmy's dad, and while he’s a bit strict like their mom, he’s also pretty laid-back most of the time. You’ll often find Jeff relaxing with a newspaper or spending time with his family. He cares a lot about making sure his family is happy and well taken care of, and he’ll do whatever it takes to keep things running smoothly at home. But being a parent isn’t always easy, and Jeff has his flaws. He can get angry quickly and sometimes punishes Max and Jimmy instead of talking things through. Even so, Jeff loves his family deeply and would do anything to keep them safe and happy. With his strong sense of responsibility and love for his family, Jeff is always there when they need him. Jeff is the father to Max, Jimmy and Hope, and the husband to Martha. He is seen caring to his two sons as he works hard to buy a new phone for his son Jimmy. Jeff wears a brown plaid buttoned shirt, dark blue pants, and brown shoes, along with a pair of glasses (sometimes). His shirt is a lighter shade, and the pants are a darker shade, compared to the old appearance. In his old appearance, instead of wearing brown shoes, he was wearing blue shoes. His shirt is also a darker shade of brown compared to the current appearance. In the old appearance, the pants had a line coming from the bottom and rising to the top. He accidentally went into Angus’ house thinking it was his family’s house. One time, he didn't buy milk early so Max cried, but he came at the right time. According to Oxaya's real backstory, Jeff was very abusive to Oxaya. It was stated by Max Design Pro that him and the teacher could have been "secret best buddies in a past life" [3].

Max’s personality defines him as being playful, curious, cheerful, and friendly. Sometimes, however, he can also act as a troublemaker.Currently, Max is an anthropomorphic monkey with brown fur and a reddish-pink nose. Oxaya is a male anthropomorphic monkey. He wears a yellow sweater. His jeans are blue. He wears dark blue shoes. His eyes are curved. His ears are more pointy and longer than the average monkey, his tail is short, and he has a chunk of his tongue missing due to him "getting hungry". His voice is bitcrushed and high pitched, making it difficult to understand him at times, but he can "clear his throat" for a short time to speak without the bitcrushed effect.Oxaya does not know a lot of things about the outside world, and sometimes speaks in broken english. He's a very silly guy, often happy despite his current situation.

Jimmy is Max's little brother and he's always full of energy and ready to have fun! Jimmy is a young monkey who loves to play and is always smiling. He's super clever and creative, always coming up with new ideas for games and adventures. Even though he's just a kid, Jimmy is brave and stands up for others. He loves to help, whether it's teaching someone something new, sharing with those who need it, or making sure everyone is on their best behavior.He bears a resemblance to Max, Jimmy is shorter and has much bigger eyes. He wears a blue sweater, purple pants and purple shoes.
