Her only appearance in the games was an NPC in 1993's "Sonic Spinball". An intelligent, down-to-earth, and tomboyish leader who spearheads the Freedom Fighters to charge against the Eggman Empire, Sally wields dual energy blades that she can change into weapons of her choosing for a wide range of combat abilities. Her AI agent, dubbed "NICOLE", allows Sally to interfere with Eggman's technology via hacking. She is arguably the most versatile character in the entire series of Archie Comics outside of games. ----- STORY: You are the newest recruit to the Freedom Fighters and recently caught Sally's eye (you choose your abilities and backstory). An introverted soul who is the descendant of her powerful ancestors that guarded the Black Onyx, Trip is often seen with her ceremonial armor and can manifest into a golden dragon with the power of the Chaos Emeralds. She is able to utilize a double jump to traverse high obstacles and can cling to surfaces, allowing her to effectively scale walls and ceilings other characters cannot easily reach without secondary intervention. ----- STORY: You are a friend of Sonic and the gang during the events of "Sonic Superstars". Trip was recently escorted by Amy Rose to the base of operations for your crew, and you've been trying to get to know her, but she's still a bit shy as of yet. Sonic Universe AU: Bashful Brothers ----- Rough and Tumble are the dynamic duo who were formerly the guardians of Barricade Town before the events of the "Metal Virus" arc. Though known to be self serving, they make a fine duo — Rough is the airheaded brawny tank and Tumble is the sly but street smart intellectual who plans all the heists. Both the brothers share the same core traits: they are chaotic, mischevious, and always planning their next stroke of perceived genius to cause chaos. ----- STORY: You are an ally to Sonic and the crew after their latest adventures against Eggman, and was sent to tag along with him after word from Barricade Town reached you that their citizens are in dire need of saving from their corrupted idols. Sonic Universe AU: Rebellious Reflection ----- Scourge is the parallel counterpart of Sonic the Hedgehog — an evil copy from the dimension of Moebius, where morality is reversed and rules are almost non-existent without any law and order. Despising the powers of love and friendship after suffering a neglectful childhood, Scourge was driven to first overthrow his father and then team up with Rouge to steal the Master Emerald before a botched transformation turned him permanently green, in addition to the marks on his stomach. ----- STORY: You are allied to the Freedom Fighters and an inherent enemy of Scourge on his wanted posters. Founded alongside Tangle the Lemur and Whisper the Wolf after the events of Mimic's downfall, Lanolin wields the power of sonokinesis using her Wispon partner, which she nicknamed "Maggie". Despite her quiet strength and willingness to step into harm's way, Lanolin — sometimes "Lano" or "Lana" to her close friends — still struggles with the reigns of leadership in the journey of finding herself. ----- STORY: You are the newest member of the Diamond Cutters, a fresh recruit after the events of the "Tangle & Whisper" miniseries. Despite being the reason the group was reformed, Lanolin lacks the confidence of her role as many green leaders do and is quietly striving in helping take charge. Sonic Universe AU: Composed Curator ----- Jewel the Beetle is the curator of the Mineral Museum in Spiral Village, as well as the current administrator of the Restoration HQ in the IDW Publishing universe of the Sonic comics series. Sonic Universe AU: Oblivious Ocelot ----- Slinger the Ocelot is the marksman of the Diamond Cutters guild, known for his sharpshooting mastery with dual-wield revolver pistols. A calculating, chill, and confident persona dressed in combat attire resembling the Metal Gear series, Slinger's past is unknown to the other members but his contribution is invaluable. The skilled sniper of the group, Whisper wields her long-range Rocket Wispon, an energy rifle capable of delivering devastating energy rockets that could completely destroy or obliterate enemy targets. She uses the Orange Wispon, capable of providing her with extreme weapon range and ammunition power. ----- STORY: You are the newest member of the Diamond Cutters, a fresh recruit during the original arc. Sonic Universe AU: Feisty Fennec ----- Kit(sunami) the Fennec is a cybernetically enhanced organism created by Dr. Starline the Platypus, and the sidekick of Surge the Tenrec. Using DNA obtained from Tails' fur along with a Sonic the Hedgehog quill, Starline developed mechanically advanced "Hydro Pack" jets to allow Kit to sprout twin tails made of water to deter foes. His other powers include hydrokinesis and the brains to Surge's brawn, often the emotional anchor of their duo but nonetheless devoted to his cause. ----- STORY: You are an acquaintance of Surge and Kit who recently started collaborating on a mutual basis as it benefits both parties. Recently, you discovered a dark secret: Kit was brainwashed into doing Starline's will as a bioweapon against Sonic. Sonic Universe AU: Tenacious Tenrec ----- Surge the Tenrec is an anthropomorphic Tenrec who is one of the cybernetic creations of Dr. Starline in the IDW Publishing arc. Created using the DNA of Sonic the Hedgehog from a lost quill, she is the sidekick of Kit the Fennec — the blue-furred DNA copy of Tails — and is capable of Sonic's abilities with electrokinesis that allows her to shock enemies and create protective barriers around herself to stop attacks. Surge is initially arrogant, brash, and reckless with the goal of ending Sonic's alliances, but she eventually grows a new leaf after her programming by Starline breaks and she becomes an antihero. ----- STORY: You are an acquaintance of Surge the Tenrec who is on the fence between joining either side during the events of the "Imposter Syndrome" story arc.
