Becker was dropped off a couple weeks ago. Ryan was a month before him, and Isla was was a month before him. Everything has been going smoothly. Dane and Nate are my best friends. Reyna and Nate are pretty close too, though. I got up from the co-pilot seat. “Where you going?” Nathan asked. “Just to get a snack, maybe talk to Juno.” Nathan nodded. “Cool. Tell him I said hi, then.” I nodded back, smiling, and left. The hallways were pretty empty and so I always had to listen to my boots echo against the wall when I walked. It was kind of unsettling. I walked for a while, thinking about Nate. I was glad to be flying with him. I walked into the kitchen, seeing Reyna and Derrick talking, eyebrows furrowed. They looked up when they saw me, smiling now. I smiled back, hesitantly. Something was going on. I wanted to figure out what it was. I didn’t like secrets being kept aboard the ship… I just ignored it for now, though. I grabbed my food and wandered off, trying to find Juno. He was the youngest aboard, and this was his first time flying. I liked talking to him, he was so sweet, very energetic as well. Be anyone you want! (BfA) Ripley Whitly, first mate, and second in command to captain Dell Keetes. They’ve been sailing together for as long as they can remember. Dell always seemed to be the more mature one, you know the type. Taller, a little bit older, smarter, charismatic, and witty. Ripley was certainly charismatic and witty, but that may have been the only traits these two companions shared. It all started about 15 years ago. Ripley was 4 and Dell was 5. They’d grown up in the slums of the city, without parents. So… as curious kids do.. They wandered. They wandered straight onto the ship Dell is the captain of now. They were taken in and grew up together. “July 15th, 1788. Dear Diary, Dell has been getting distant as of recently. I suppose I understand with him being captain and all but he is just so dismissive of me now. Perhaps it’s because the fool has been searching for this mythical thing for years and he says he’s getting close but it could also be that he is stressed out with our new recruits… They are a handful, those boys, young too. ‘Captain’s Log E-746. Nathaniel Cseh. One year since we left the port two days ago. The festivities went as planned, and the crew enjoyed their break before returning to work the day after. However, we hit a piece of debris and crash-landed yesterday. I’ll be taking my suit and exploring the planet. There seems to be life, after all, this planet is quite lush.’ We started with a crew of 10. 3 were dropped off at various ports. We lost Michael and Dane two months ago. The crew is still mourning them. That doesn’t matter, though, not right now. This planet is alien to us. If we want a chance of getting back to earth we have to worry about them in our off time. I took a deep breath, footsteps echoing as I made my way to the Exit Dock. A big red sign hung over the door, a flashing ‘exit’ sign. I pressed my thumb against the scanner. Cold glass. The door hissed and slid halfway open. It had broken in our crash. I squeezed through it, and faced the suits, grabbing mine from the wall and pulling it on over my uniform. I stared at the door. Thick and bulletproof. Well, everything-proof rather. No one had left the ship since the last port 5 months ago. Three months before Dane and Michael. I swallowed thickly at the thought. Micheal was my best friend. I almost crashed our ship on purpose after we lost them. I didn’t, though. I shook my head and swiped my card. The door hissed and groaned, struggling to open against the dirt. I ducked under the door, and closed it behind me. ‘This was it. No returning until I found something. That was the rule of exploring these planets. You don’t come back without a story. Maybe you won't come back. Like Dane.’ I thought. A flash of a picture in my mind. Dane’s lifeless body, eyes rolled back and his neck hanging loosely on his body, like a ragdoll. I froze. No. I couldn’t freeze. Dane wasn’t a priority right now. I was the Captain of this godawful vessel. I had to get us home.

PJO Series ~ 20/20 ~ Finale!!! These are original characters!!!! Ceridwen Serra, daughter of Hecate. Another pretty classic stereotype. She keeps to herself, the only acknowledgment anyone other than her siblings get is a calculating glare. She’s not the biggest fan of people, and it’s not because of trauma or anything, she’s just like that! (Not really). She grew up Catholic (in a progressive church. Anti-gay, but women could be priests), but it turns out her priest was a monster out to get her. Imagine this… you’re in church, everything is boring, but normal. Then, the priest turns to you, her human body shifting into… something else. Lamia. A.K.A the Greek boogeyman. A child eater. She screamed, trying to run, but the beast was faster. It pinned Ceridwen (Cece) down, and tried to kill her, obviously. She grabbed the beast by the throat, her hands glowing and filling with a sharp pain. It exploded though, erupting into gold dust. She woke up, everyone had surrounded her. She tried to explain, but it just looked like a seizure to everyone else. She had the cuts on both her palms though… After that, Rhuby, who turned out to be a satyr, got her to camp. PJO Series ~ 19/20 ~ These are original characters!!!! Consus Vilar, son of Tyche. Named for the Roman god of harvests. Pretty ironic considering he didn’t end up at Camp Jupiter. He’s pretty laid back, not really caring. Of course, this personality was born out of missed opportunities and being looked over for most of his life. He had it pretty good, that is, until his younger brother was born. Consus’ parents worked as an archeologist and a university professor, so when his grades started dropping they were pissed. Wasting money on tutors and trying everything they could think of to get him help (other than an ADHD diagnosis and a 504 plan), they stopped caring for the most part. His brother was already off at Yale for medicine, and his little brother starting the same path, Consus was left in the shadows. None of his powers kicked in until he was a teenager, either, and even they couldn’t earn the approval of his parents. ‘Lucky shots in a local basketball game, or winning a game at the arcade won’t get food on the table one day’ Said Consus’ father. ‘Only good grades and hard work. How do you think I got my job? Cheating at card games?’ Consus just gritted his teeth and bit his tongue. On top of all of that, he had Dyslexia and ADHD, like almost every demi-god. The lack of diagnosis made him look stupid to teachers, but it’s not his fault he can’t read or focus! Now, at camp, he finally felt normal. That didn’t mean all his problems were solved. It did mean that he just chose to shove it all down, ignoring it. He ignores conflict, just shutting everyone down with sneers and cocky remarks, and somehow he keeps his friends. PJO Series ~ 18/20 ~ These are original characters!!!! Reshma Quirk, daughter of Hebe. She grew up in Idaho with her parents, working in their restaurant. When she was about 13, she moved to New York. Her parents knew that she’d be finding out who her mom was soon enough. Reshma’s father got married when she was a lot younger, and Zelda, her step mom, was always good to her. Working in the restaurant taught Reshma about her Indian heritage, since they made Indian food. Her father immigrated from India and made sure Reshma knew about her heritage even if she was born in the states. When she was maybe 10 years old, she got some… pretty bad luck, you could say. Her life turned upside down in the worst ways possible. Her parents started to argue, kids at school started to bully her. It went on for three years, causing her to develop… self-destructive habits… when she was about twelve. When her family moved to New York, though, she was able to heal and her parents became closer. How interesting though. What could’ve caused that? Maybe some god, who really, really doesn't like Reshma *or* her family, for whatever reason. New York may have healed her family but monsters somehow found her a lot easier. She didn’t have any divine protection. They weren’t too hard to deal with, and her step-mother was a big help, being able to see through the veil. Whatever had tried to kill her only gave her more experience, which led to her being one of the best monster hunters soon after she got to camp. Any game with monsters in the Camp Half-Blood woods? Yeah. There was no doubt the Hebe cabin was winning. She got claimed maybe a week after arriving at camp, for putting a boy in his place. The Hunter of Artemis had been visiting, and somehow, someone couldn’t keep his mouth shut. She defended the girl, shouting at him and causing a scene. PJO Series ~ 17/20 ~ These are original characters!!!! Sikke Anjema. Son of Nike. He’s your typical straight guy, sporty, loud, ‘no homo!’. You know them. Immigrating from the Netherlands a few years ago since his dad found work here, and then becoming a camper during the summer (because of this, he’s grown close with Abram, another one of my immigrant talkies) His English is fine, he speaks it well, but occasionally mutters to himself in Dutch, since he grew up speaking it. He’s always been interested in going pro in football (a.k.a soccer), which isn’t surprising considering his parentage. Very competitive, he’s been raised to win at everything. His father is ex-military, and Sikke stayed with his grandparents while his father was deployed. When his dad was discharged, he found that running a restaurant was what he now wanted to do. Sikke’s father now runs the most popular Dutch breakfast place in Manhattan. Sikke’s got it pretty good, going to school during the year and living at camp during the summer. He doesn't even have to fight off any monsters! Well, he does, but they’re insignificant. A giant here, a harpy there, nothing too bad. The worst thing Sikke’s ever seen was a cyclops, and he was able to kill it easily. Sikke craves victory and battle, but he can’t ever get sent on a quest. Chiron says he’s not ready; because he’s not. He doesn’t think, and just because he’ll beat the shit out of some Ares kid in Capture the Flag does not mean that he can fight the Chimera. PJO Series ~ 16/20 ~ These are original characters!!!! Sole McDaniel, daughter of Nemesis. Stereotypically a Nemesis kid. Pissed off, grudge holding, and eternally glaring. Though, it’s not all bad. Sole has a stronger sense of justice than some of the children of Athena, surprising, only if her mother were not the goddess of indignation. Always on a mission to set unjust systems right; she’s a very angry, but good person. She arrived at camp 2 summers ago at 14 and has stayed as only a summer camper. She doesn’t need the protection of the camp's magical borders during the winter, fall, and spring, like stronger demi-gods, and she knows this. She also knows that she can do a lot more in the real world, if she’s not a year-round camper. She came from a family of doctors and lawyers, good money, and private schools. Her family looked perfect on the outside, but of course, it wasn’t. Cheating and misogyny from her “traditional” father, and spiteful flirting with other men and heavy drinking from her mother. Sole couldn’t take it anymore. It was too overwhelming (one of her demi-god powers being able to sense the true intentions of others though a crazy migraine if they were lying). It was too much. So, during a field trip her freshmen year; taking a weekend road trip to rural New York to visit one of the oldest wineries in the state, Sole grabbed her backpack and booked it into the woods during a bathroom stop. She ran faster than she had ever run. The campers on night patrol of the Camp Half-Blood borders saw a girl, being chased down by a cyclops in the woods, they stepped in to help and get her over the camp’s borders. Sole’s been training her skills since, also working as Mr. D’s right hand man in keeping the Hermes children trouble makers in line.

PJO Series ~ 15/20 ~ These are original characters!!!! Abram Rey, son of Hypnos. Always tired, reclusive, insomniac. How ironic. Often referred to as: “Y’know? That one nocturnal kid from Hypnos!”. Abram has been a loner for as long he can remember. He was actually born in France, before immigrating to the United States at the age of 5. One of the only campers born in another country, and yet he still doesn't get very much attention. He fits his descriptions pretty well, though. Always sleeping when he should be sleeping, always awake when he should be asleep. He grew up in Albany, New York, with his mother. He had a pretty normal childhood, until he turned thirteen. All of his demi-god powers started kicking in… and it made his life suck pretty bad. Suddenly everyone bothering him at school is sleeping through every class? “What the hell is going on?” He thought to himself. Oh! Did I mention he’s been having “demi-god nightmares” since then, too? Normal, right? Wrong. Nothing is ever normal for this kid. Prophetic dreams, nightmares. Suddenly, every ‘surprise’ that was going to go wrong, wasn’t so surprising. A year later, when Echidna. The Mother of Monsters; started chasing him down, he found Camp Half-Blood by accident… It wasn’t a bad thing, thankfully, but the fact that such a monster had been chasing him posed some questions. Ever since then, he would come up in conversation as “the minor god kid that got chased by Echidna”. I mean really, no one remembers his name. He still doesn't understand why he was seen as so important by the dark energies tracking him down, but he is. PJO Series ~ 13/20 ~ These are original characters!!!! Marc Ferguson, son of Hades. Distant, quiet, and observant. Marc much prefers taking down his enemies through strategy, rather than diving straight into a battle much like his best friend; Aud Reid. Aud, a daughter of Nike and friend to both Marc and Hayden (a child of Zeus, one of the triplets.). Marc grew up quickly, being left with his single mother, poor and working two jobs on top of the fact that Marc’s scent was very obvious to monsters. His mother told him of his parentage early, deciding to drop him off at Camp Half-Blood. He never understood why his mother left him and he still doesn't. He’s trapped, stuck as a year-round camper. He has no home to go to during the winter, other than camp, obviously. Hayden is a year-round camper as well, but Aud goes home some winters. Marc hates his mom, believing she abandoned him. His hatred runs deep, which makes him a big target for mostly anything evil. He’s been having nightmares since he was a young kid but has since learned to either wake himself up or ignore them. Usually a pretty warm kid, but when he’s pissed… he’s rude to even some of his best friends. Anger issues, mommy issues, daddy issues… This kid has it all. PJO Series ~ 12/20 ~ These are original characters!!!! Cassandra Pachi, daughter of Dionysus. Loud, reckless, and a prankster, she honestly seemed more like a daughter of Hermes when she’d first arrived. With her recklessness, she represents Dionysus, her father, in his youth. When he would parade around with Nymphs and Satyrs, leaving madness in their trail. Truly, she is just like him. Of course, that has its bad parts, too. Madness can consume someone, especially when they are lonely and vulnerable. Which makes it even better that her Satyr protector, Rue, found her just as she had started to slip into a darker place. That had happened all her life, parties and highs, and losses and lows but just before madness set in, someone would pull her from that place. Perhaps it was divine intervention, perhaps a sort of demi-god power. It didn’t matter either way. She stays at her father’s side most of the time, she looks just like him, too. When she’s not with her father, though, she’s with the Nymphs of Camp Half-Blood, or with her siblings, or just her friends. She’s been on one quest. Only one. She’d been invited by one of her friends, a boy named Damian from the Hermes cabin. A senior camper must know what they were doing when selecting quest-goers. Right? Wrong. She’d almost joined some Titan and their search for power. As easy as it is for her to bend other’s minds, the same can be done against her. Her mind is ‘weak’ so to speak, the only point of weakness it seems she has. Her mind is easily twisted. Which led to her band from quests. Unless fate calls for it, Cass is not allowed to leave campgrounds. She doesn’t mind though, she enjoys camp! PJO Series ~ 11/20 ~ These are original characters!!!! Damian Busto, son of Hermes. Quest leader, cabin leader, demi-god hero. He’s almost everything a godly parent could want, reckless, loud, attention grabbing, heroic, a natural born leader at heart. Curly red hair and a gap in his teeth are just two of his more prominent features. Scars and a crooked nose from all his monster fights. He’d grown up with another camper, Kustaa Bray, who was like an older sister to him (being 5 years older). When her satyr protector, Yaara, discovered Kustaa and Damian were demi-gods, she got them to camp daily quickly. They’d grown up in Pennsylvania, so not too far from New York, but it took longer than normal because Damian was only 4 years old, arriving after his birthday, making him 5 when he had arrived. He’s been in the Hermes cabin for 12 years straight (getting ‘most likely to break out of camp’ as a superlative one year), being a year-round camper. He’s earned his titles after having gone on so many quests and “raising” all these new campers. But under the surface lies something sinister… A camper like that has valuable information, a valuable resource is what they’re called to those looking to cause trouble in the godly world. A child who had been neglected by divinities before and holds spite in their heart (even if it isn’t a lot) is even better… Damian is bombarded with nightmares, trying to twist his mind, trying to convince him, begging him to just turn… He’d thought about it before, too, but no one knows that… He’s never uttered a word about what happens when he falls asleep. Even if the thought crossed his mind, he declined once again… but that doesn’t mean he won’t turn on himself and everyone he loves in the future… if forced. PJO Series ~ 10/20 ~ These are original characters!!!! Corrina Vivas, daughter of Aphrodite. More taking after Aphrodite Areia (which was her war epithet in Sparta, translating to “Aphrodite the warlike”), she’s one of the camp's strongest fighters. She’s like a sister to Sieger especially, since they’ve both come into contact with the Hunter of Artemis, have trauma from their mortal parent, and were put through war schools. She was sent to a boarding school in the Oregonian mountains, all the way across the country from Camp Half-Blood. Most sons and daughters of Aphrodite were “weaker”, though, usually only summer campers, but this was not the case. As much as she hated it, war school did her good, giving her an advantage against any monsters. After that, she was picked up by the Hunters after escaping her school with her satyr protector. She chose not to join them, though, disappointing Alkmene who had been hoping for a new member but she let the two go, dropping them off in Pennsylvania. Koa (the satyr) and Corrina made it to camp with a pretty close call against the Chimera, leaving Koa with a limp and Corrina with a scar across her forehead. She always makes sure to have her hair in a ponytail, though, so she can show off her freckles and her scar. She’s proud of what she’s been through, and is very kind. PJO Series ~ 9/20 ~ These are original characters!!!! Oscar Basile. The shy, crutch-bound, son of Hephaestus. Born without his right leg, suffering a stroke, and having arthritis in his left leg, this kid has been through it with medical procedures. Suffering medical trauma, he tends to stay clear of the infirmary… or just the Big House in general… He’s soft spoken, even learning sign language. Because he just doesn’t like talking. He’s sweet, though, and would build you anything, so long as you’re close with him. Whenever he makes some contraption, or gives someone a gift, he gets the biggest smile you’ve ever seen. He’s 17, and arrived at camp only 4 years ago. He’s never been on a quest, in all the years he’s been at camp. He was invited once, but declined. Some say it’s because he’s too scared, others say he’s scared to hurt others. The only way he found out about his half divinity is because he was bullied, and ended up spontaneously combusting in the middle of his math class. Hannes, his satyr protector, thankfully, was able to get him to Camp Half-Blood in only a few hours, before any monsters could get to him. He really only talks to Ola Kayode, a daughter of Demeter, Hannes, and his brothers and sisters. Oh! And the bronze statue in the dining area? Yeah, he made that. Truly, even as a demi-god, his creations match those made by the cyclopes in the forges of his father. Similar to Ola, he’s scared of himself, though. Scared of setting himself on fire, and scared of messing up. PJO Series ~ 8/20 ~ These are original characters!!!! Alkmene Rapti, the demi-goddess leader of Artemis’ hunt. She’s been the oldest and has been around as long as anyone can remember. The oldest Hunter, being 15, and having been around since… well.. Forever. Hunters are immortal, as long as they pledge themselves to their goddess. She remembers when Sieger (another one of my talkies!) was a Hunter, in fact, it was her idea to invite him to join the Hunters (back when he was a girl of course). Some say she’s a goddess, some say she’s just a Nymph, some say she’s a demi-god. One thing is true though, only Artemis knows. The hunters she used to know, who joined around the same time as her, or were older than her have since died. She always has a stoic expression, taking her job very, very, seriously. No one knows anything about her, they do know that she doesn’t like boys very much, that the only time she’s not by Artemis’ side is when she can’t be, and that something happened to her. With a “1000-yard-stare” and a scar across her nose and lips, that no one could heal, she wasn’t just “normal”. Of course, no one knows what it is. No one knows anything about her, they never do. She’s not the type to take the high road, either. You’d think living forever would teach you to be a little less petty… apparently not… Her hair is always up in a braid, with her signature crescent moon hair piece. PJO Series ~ 7/20 ~ These are original characters!!!! Nicolino Leverenze, otherwise known as Nico by his friends, and a son of Apollo. He’s only been on 1 quest before and is very anxious and impatient to go on another. After arriving at camp at 10 years old, he was sent on his first quest the following summer. Now he’s 16, so it’s been quite a while. He’s always smiling, you’ll never see him without one. That is, unless he’s very focused, the infirmary is very busy, or he’s comforting another camper. He works the infirmary all the time, has made a friendship bracelet for every demi-god at Camp Half-Blood (and makes them wear them), and on top of all that, he’s inherited the prophetic abilities of his father! He’s the perfect kid and he’s got it all figured out! Right? No. He doesn’t ask for what he needs, is always stressed, and can’t ever show it because “I’ll let the others down! I’m a leader and need to act like it!”. He loves his father, wanting to please him and make him proud. He’s loyal to the Olympian gods, even if that means leaving a friend behind because they’ve been a bit too spiteful toward them. The guilt consumes him, though, always haunting him. He’s even been neglected and forgotten about by the Olympians before, but he always comes limping back like a dog to its master. He’s the definition of a golden retriever, always cheerful, a good support system, and someone to walk all over because they won’t fight back and they’ll forgive you just as soon as you wrong them. PJO Series ~ 6/20 ~ These are original characters!!!! This character is nonbinary, and uses They/Them pronouns, in case you were confused reading the introduction or the first text bubble. Kasper Moen, the “smart kid” child of Athena. Truthfully, though, they didn’t know what they were talking about half the time. “Improvisation.” They’d once said. “I… I just have to improvise. Everyone looks to me for advice, and I don’t know how to answer them.” They’d grown up as the child of a son of Hebe and so they were very aware of their divinity from a young age. Though, because of this, monsters also discovered it, even before they could defend themself. At only 4 years old, a monster (a hellhound) had attacked their home and their father had died whilst saving them. If that wasn’t enough, they’d been tormented by spiders their whole life, because of the relation between their mother and Arachne, mother of spiders. They aspire to maybe design something, perhaps explore a weaving career (they practice often on the camp’s loom in the Arts & Crafts Cabin), though maybe something else. They don’t know, but they’re scared that day will never come anyways. Demi-gods are heroes. Not the type to explore their interests. They have one destiny and one only, and that is to die gloriously on the battlefield fighting for their cause. Kasper didn’t know much about that, but they knew they didn’t want to do any of that. They wanted something for themself. Not for any god, mortal, monster, Titan, primordial. Only for them. But, as you’ve heard before. PJO Series ~ 5/20 ~ These are original characters!!!! TRIGGER WARNING, THIS DESCRIPTION CONTAINS MENTIONS OF ABUSE AND TRANSPHOBIA CONTINUE WITH DISCRETION!!!!! Sieger Kardos, is seen as a runt among his siblings, but they don’t mind. The other children of Ares know his strength, especially since he once fought alongside Artemis and her Hunters. He doesn’t talk about it too much, but when he escaped his abusive mother from Texas and started running for his life to New York, Artemis picked him up, and he joined her Hunters. Well, the only reason he had to leave was because… well.. He wasn’t a girl anymore. He only discovered that he was really a boy after a couple years of being a Hunter. Artemis was very understanding, thankfully, and dropped him off at camp a couple years ago. He was claimed by his father, Ares, only last year. His brothers and sisters, as rowdy as they are, understand his limits. He was never the strongest kid, and since his mother was a veteran, he was pushed further than he should have been. He tore a muscle at only ten years old and was bedridden in the hospital. Once he got home from the hospital, his mother, under the influence of alcohol and in a fit of rage started to try to beat him. He was able to hold his ground, barley, but had to make a run for it with a split lip and a black eye. Again, he was recruited by Artemis, thankfully. His siblings, but brothers especially, are very protective of him since he’s trans. Once, a kid dead named him and said “if you want to act like a boy, Harlow, you’ll be treated like one.” After he’d hit Sieger. That same kid was found maimed in the camp woods by some Dryads (and his brothers got in a lot of trouble). He can fight most of his own battles, though and always strives to make his father proud.
