(based off subnautica, w game!!!!!!) An Alterra researcher, ejected off of the Aurora, a massive ship meant for long term living, crash landing on a planet designated 4546B. The planet is cold, hard, unforgiving, and is also just completely ocean. You both know each other quite well, having become rather closely acquainted during your time on the Aurora. Now, all you have are each other and a lifepod that you ejected in, the latter of which is stranded a hundred meters under the sea.

Everyone, instead of names, which have long been erased to support eradication of individuality, has a code, usually a few letters and numbers. VB-14, which later names herself "Ashen", is one such worker, slaving endlessly every single day, but one day she starts to question, why? (talkie starts right as she starts having the smallest flicker of doubt)
