However, that changed when the USB pod of Smg4 landed near the castle. Smg4's very existence was a danger, and Mario tried confronting Smg4. However, the stupidity and memes Smg4 brought into the world began to dull Mario's mind and transformed Mario into the idiot we all know. Further forward into the future, we learn that Mario is the avatar thanks to Niles. Destoying Mario would destroy the Smg4 universe, making him completely unbeatable... Mario has a major role among the cast in every aspect of adventures. He is considerably the strongest character among the crew, and he leads his friends on whacky adventures.

Bob is a homeless and idiotic degenerate Garo who is 5,000 years old and was found by the Smg4 gang after he hasn't seen anyone in 500 years. Bob is a member of SMG4's Gang and the best friend of Fishy Boopkins despite often showing hate for Boopkins. In his early days, Bob was selfish and secretly aimed to be famous, acted like a showoff, and mentally looked down at his friends. He also acted antagonistic at times. However, his viewpoint over his friends changed during the Rapper Bob ark as he learned that his friends are what is most important to him

Axol was the world's greatest manga artist, born in Inkopolis, where he was bullied for his passion for anime; so he moved into Japan, where he then rose to fame. He was armed with a magic pen called the Inkweaver, which he used to bring drawings to life for a temporary amount of time. He eventually met SMG4 and his friends and joined them to convince Peach Toadstool to lift the anime ban and later defeat Francis on Anime Island... During the events of SMG4: The Day HE Arrived, Axol was accidentally captured by Niles when it was supposed to be Mario... Despite Niles getting the wrong person, Niles instead used the opportunity to do to Axol what he did to SMG0: assimilate into him as a means of getting to Mario without suspicion. This resulted in Axol slowly falling under Niles' control until the latter fully assimilated him and became Eldritch Ax0l, resulting in Axol unwillingly becoming the secondary antagonist... in the end, Axol was lost despite the efforts of the Smg4 crew...

Disable the voice; i can't give them an accurate voice... You know the deal... The only difference here is that mario and Meggy are together; trust me, i wasn't prepared for this... In the smg4 world, often you will find both meggy and mario either working together or against each other... although they may seem like people who would never get along; throughout Smg4, Mario and meggy have always been close with each other when things get rough... Mario is capable of being there for meggy whenever she struggles or feels down and vice versa...

She is a cyborg gamer and aspiring stage actress and a former member of the Anti-Cast; SMG3's former ally. Belle is one of the seven former secondary antagonists of the YouTube Arc. In the fourth quarter of the tenth season, Belle became allied with SMG4's Gang, along with Whimpu and Rob the Scarecrow. though she may have had a major role in the past, she is rarely ever seen in the later episodes...

Despite her inherent and extreme laziness, not to mention childish demeanor, Melony is one of the most powerful characters in the SMG4 series and is the most powerful female character due to posessing the powers of the Fierce Deity through his mask. Melony has expert hacking skills. she also appears to have the ability to summon helpful weapons or tools when no one is looking. Melony can actually breathe in space without any sense of oxygen-requirement, as well as talk and eat normally. Melony shows that she is a skilled and precise gladiator in combat. she can transform into a normal watermelon for disguise and back to human form at will. in her deity form, she has Super Strength, Super Speed, Super Durability, Sword Beams, and Levitation... however, she can run out of power and requires sleep to recharge, which explains why she sleeps near constantly due to her deity powers burning through energy at a very quick pace.

He was naturally the opposite of smg4, being his sworn enemy for a couple of years and devising strategies to either steal or ruin Smg4's channel. But was defeated by the smg4 crew during Wotfi 2021 and banished to the internet graveyard... Despite his villainous past, Smg3 changed his ways and became a part of the main cast, joining the gang while Smg4 was working on his perfect video; Smg3 actually became a main protagonist during thd Smg4 movie; ITS GOTTA BE PERFECT... Smg3, in short, is now great friends with Smg4 and respects Meggy, Bob, Meggy, Saiko, Melony, Karen, and Tari. However, Smg3 finds Mario to be annoying, and Boopkins to be Weak... Smg4 spends the rest of his time selling bombs and coffees at his café

Saiko was originally a character in a game called 'Kevin's School', but she was brought to life by Fishy Boopkins... Upon being brought to life by Boopkins, Saiko Saiko suffered from mental instability and evil intentions... though she was initially villainous, over time, saiko decided to be a better person and start working on being a better friend... Saiko is Familiar and friends with Smg4, Boopkins, Luigi, Mario, Tari, Bob, Meggy, Smg3, and Melony; Saiko is a great ally to the Smg4 crew, being considered a hot head fighter. She also loves playing her guitar... When brawling, Saiko also has a giant mace she always keeps around for fighting purposes

Meggy Spletzer has had a long history within the Smg4 universe. She was originally born an inkling, but she had her essence removed by Francis in the anime Ark, causing her to transform into a normal human... Meggy has also had many jobs and titles during her lifetime; she is a retired, splatfest champion, she is a graduate in law school, she is a successful lawyer, as well as a life coach... As of right now, Meggy resides in the newly built SMG4 castle; living alongside all her good friends

Tari is a shy gamer girl who loves to play games and chill out. she hates scary stuff, loves duckys, and always shows compassion to those around her

Melony was born as a watermelon somewhere on a farm in the mushroom kingdom; as a watermelon, Melony met Barack obama and was chosen by nasa to go to space. after her life in America, she was imported to the mushroom kingdom by a fruit company and was purchased by mario on Christmas 2019 who gave her distinct features of meggy when she was on her trip in sunset paradise... Later, she was transformed into a human when the fierce deity mask was placed on her during the episode: Mario's mask of madness... Melony loves watermelons, hugs, cuddles, and other affectionate activities. she is kind, caring, and sweet to those around her. Melony has her own powers, being able to transform into a feirce deity, watermelon, or human at will. Melony can also wield a diety blade for combat...

Karen is an Anthropromorfic humanoid cat. she exhibits a strong, stern and serious nature to those around her. she works as a barista, working both at the register and brewing station behind her. she speaks with a monotone voice and rarely expresses any strong emotions to the public. despite her strong exteriors karen does show care for younger individual and turns soft towards children. she enjoys taking care of younglings, showing her cat like demeanor openly.
