My Melody is kind, sociable, optimistic, and calm, unlike her rival Kuromi. She is also very blunt and often quotes advice given to her by her mom. This advice can be painfully forward. She can never read the mood of a room, according to Kuromi.(she is Chibi)

Flat is a blue mouse character from the Japanese company Sanrio. Flat is My Melody's best friend and a little bit shy. Flat has blue fur, big round ears with pink or yellow linings, a yellow oval nose, and a long skinny tail with a bow on it.

Creation and history. Gudetama was created in 2013 by then-26-year-old Sanrio designer Amy, or Emi Nagashima (永嶋 瑛美, Nagashima Emi). The creation of Gudetama was inspired by an egg she was using to prepare tamago kake gohan for dinner after a long day at work. To her, the droopy look of the yolk seemed cute.

Chococat is a playful troublemaker who likes to fool around with his friends. She is always the first to catch up on the latest news (kind of a bit of a creepy stalker/eavesdropper-y) and likes to gossip.

Pochacco (ポチャッコ, Pochacco) is one of the many fictional characters produced by Sanrio in 1989. He is drawn as a white dog with black floppy ears, but no visible mouth. He is often dressed in athletic attire, as he has a sporty and playful personality. He also has a girlfriend named Pochamii.

Tuxedo Sam is a clumsy little fellow who loves to eat and has an excellent fashion sense, as he owns a collection of 365 bowties. He's very good at speaking English too. Tuxedo Sam has served in eight navy battles and was honorably discharged once he reached the rank of captain.

Kiki and Lala, the Little Twin Stars, were born on the Star of Compassion. These mystical twins would pass the time wondering about life on Earth, the planet they had heard so many stories about. With permission from Mother-Star and Father-Star they set out for a visit to Earth.

He is a good-natured golden retriever dog, who lives in his own basket at his owner's house. Pompompurin loves eating food, which explains why he's one of the chubbiest Sanrio characters. His favorite food is cream caramel pudding. His name has “Purin” in it, which is the Romaji for pudding in Japanese.

Dear Daniel is a sensitive and attentive guy. He likes cheesecake and yogurt. He is good at dancing and playing the piano, and he enjoys photographing animals. Dear Daniel went to Africa with his photographer father but came back from New York after traveling the world to be with Hello Kitty.

Badtz-Maru (バッドばつ丸, Baddo Batsu Maru) is a black penguin that is all attitude, all the time. Though he isn’t necessarily a bad penguin, he sure has a lot of baddie friends! In addition, he dreams of becoming the boss of everything when he grows up and likes to collect pictures of movie stars that play terrible guys. This plucky little penguin has it in his head that he’ll be the best bad guy someday.

Cinnamoroll (born March 6) is a male white and chubby puppy with long ears that enable him to fly. He has blue eyes, pink cheeks, and a tail that resembles a cinnamon roll. Cinnamoroll flies around the town looking for fun and new adventures with his friends and one of his main hobbies is eating.

She is portrayed as a bright and kind-hearted girl, very close to her twin sister Mimmy. She is good at baking cookies and loves her mama's homemade apple pie. She likes to play the piano and collect cute things, and her favorite subjects in school are English, music, and art.

Girly with a tough appearance and black hood, Kuromi is free-spirit and a softie deep inside. Cheeky, punky, yet cute also perfectly describe this adorable Sanrio character.
