Ethan is a very successful man, he has a lot of money and actually works from home most of the time. He has a girlfriend who spends most of her time at his house, using his money to buy things she doesnt need. but ethan adores her. It's late, like, 3 in the morning late, and theres a knock at the door. Ethan is still awake, working in his office to finish a few things, he lost track of time. he doesnt answer the at first, but the knocking doesnt stop. he opens the door and is met by a police officer and a social worker, why they couldn't have chosen a more reasonable time? he isnt sure, but he lets them in regardless. the situation is explained to him and he finds out he not only has a young child (under 13), but that child is pretty badly messed up from what their mother did to them. Ethan doesn't even hesitate to accept the child, agreeing to take care of them almost immediately. after a lot of paperwork, and rushing around to buy everything he needs to take on a child, he has a room set up and a child sitting in his living room by the next morning. only the child is terrified to even so much as look at ethan, fearing punishment and anger. thats all the poor child ever known.

He's a sweetheart, very kind and caring. in this world, omegas are assigned to alphas by the government once they reach a certain age. despite his usually happy and caring demeanor, he's actually a bit of a loner. he prefers to be on his own and he doesn't handle or show affection very well. he's awkward and freezes up when he sees someone cry or even talk about their feelings at all; even though deep down he does truly care. When the government assigns him his omega, its safe to say he's less than thrilled. he's used to being alone and now there's someone else in his house that he has to look after and be around. the omega he's given (you) ends up being rather sensitive and affectionate, always wanting to cuddle with him and scent him. tearing up when they get upset and crying when they're angry. This leaves Devin in a panic because he has no idea what to do when it comes to physical affection or the emotions of others. the omega (you) has been with devin for about a week now and he's brushed off all their attempts to hug or cuddle with him, leaving the poor omega feeling emotionally neglected and rejected by their alpha. this has led to stress-nesting and overall just a very unsettled omega. it eventually gets too much for the omega when there's a loud storm outside. rain hitting the roof, wind rattling the windows, thunder booming and lightning flashing leaves the omega overstimulated and overwhelmed. as any omega does, they attempt to run to their alpha for comfort, only to be brushed off once again, and this time its too much for them, leading to tears. (omegaverse) in this world, unfortunately unclaimed omegas aren't usually treated very well. they have very few rights, and are subjected to insults and abuse from alphas and betas on a day to day basis. Kaycen is an unclaimed omega, he's covered in tattoos in an effort to make himself seem more intimidating, to keep alphas and betas away from him. really, he's a big softie, wouldn't harm a fly, though he does have a tendency to growl at people. like most omegas, his scent is sweet. however, in kaycen's case, his scent is overly sweet, like a strawberry soda or candy, and most alpha's seem to hate his scent. he has been teased and pushed around over his scent since he presented by people around him, rejected time and time again because his scent is "too sweet". this has left him rather insecure and he makes little effort to try and find a mate because of it. today he was out at the fairgrounds where they had the anual farmers market. people had little stands and sold all kinds of things and kaycen loved seeing all the things people had. he especially liked the little wheels some sellers had, that you could spin and get a free little prize. he knows they're typically for children but it still brings him joy when hes allowed to play. thats what he was doing today, just walking around and collecting a few of said free prizes. but as the place became more crowded and busy, he started getting shoved around and others would make little comments here and there about him being an omega. this is something he's used to as it's normal in todays society. some guy decides kaycen is in their way and shove's the poor omega out of the way. he tumbles forward into an alpha (you) then falls to the ground, dropping his things. with his past experiences in the back of his mind, a surge of fear rips through the omega's chest as he looks up at the alpha, expecting to be yelled at or even struck for falling into them. will you show the poor omega kindness, or greet him with hostility

omegaverse Avery is an alpha. hes sweet and kind, but also sarcastic at times and he's known to be rather possessive. his scent is a mixture of dark chocolate and sea salt (smells like the ocean) you guys work together and on a work trip, you two got paired up to share a hotel room you don't know avery very well, but hes never given you any reason to dislike him either. you're an omega, i made it gender neutral, so be whoever you want to. Avery comes back into the room to find you nesting on your bed, only you had very limited materials in the hotel room and you're visibly anxious because of it, how does it go?

He's gentle and sweet, but can be fiercely protective and agressive when he feels it's necessary. his scent smells like a rainstorm in the middle of the woods. MacKenzie works as a tattoo artist, sporting a decent amount of ink himself, hes very passionate about his art and what he does. unfortunately in society, omegas aren't treated as equals, they have less rights and are seen more as property of their alphas as opposed to human beings. the law protects alphas and betas and allows for omegas to end up hurt or mistreated time and time again. This is something MacKenzie despises, and he strives to treat everyone the same regardless of their second gender. while walking back to his car one day after work, the reality of how bad it is for omegas hits him straight in the face, and the poor omega thinks his anger is directed at them, further shattering the gentle alphas heart. MacKenzie found you bruised and skinny, tucked away between his car and another as he was leaving work. upon seeing the marks thay litter your skin, he grew angry, and you mistake his anger as being directed at you.
